I am Opeyemi Blessing OYAWALE, a first-class wildlife and ecotourism management graduate from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria, fueled by a deep passion for wildlife research and conservation consultancy. My academic journey has been a quest to understand and contribute to the delicate balance between humanity and the natural world. With a firm foundation in wildlife and ecotourism management, I am on a dedicated path towards becoming a wildlife researcher and consultant. Motivated by my curiosity to explore the complex lives of wildlife, I want to establish a name for myself as a researcher and provide accurate evaluation for conservation initiatives. In addition, my goal is to provide sustainable practice consultations that help close the gap between human activity and the health of the various ecosystems on our planet. I am a born and raised wildlife conservationist from birth, a student at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Umudike, Abia state, Nigeria, I am deeply engaged in the study of forestry and environmental management. Additionally, I actively participate as a volunteer for the Nigerian Bird Atlas Project, a vital initiative led by the AP Leventis Ornithological Research Institute in Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria. Furthermore, I contribute my time and efforts as a volunteer at the Biodiversity Preservation Center in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. My passion for nature extends beyond my academic and volunteer commitments. I find joy in immersing myself in the wilderness, whether it be in the field or forest, where I engage in activities such as planting trees and capturing captivating photographs that showcase the beauty of our natural world. Isaiah Gitonga Muthuri is my name. I come from Kenya specifically from mount Kenya East. I am a Bsc graduate in Natural resources management from Egerton University. I have also taken short project management training with Cornerstone on demand foundation and Coursera. I have also recently completed an eight week  School of Climate change Michaelmas 2023 from oxford climate Society. I also boast of strong experience in office practice and management, environmental monitoring, project management evaluation and technical reporting. I have had a golden opportunity to add to my skill with wildlife project management with Wildtrust. This will help much in my search for a challenging opportunity to reimagine wildlife management in Africa.

Uchenna is a Chartered Environmentalist, University Lecturer and on secondment to IFAD-funded LivelihoodImprovement Family Enterprises – Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project as Abia State Project Coordinator, a board oftrustee-member of Future Generation University, USA; Chairman - Abia State Chapter of Nigerian Environmental Society (NES); with a doctoral degree in environmental forest ecology. He has over 20 peer-reviewed academic publications, and an international development professional with over 22 years and hasworked at least once in each Nigerian state as an Independent Development Consultant. Also, he hasprovided development consultancy services in India, Nepal, United States of America, Rwanda, Cameroon,United Kingdom and Namibia. Recently, he participated as the Nigerian representative in a-global research titled ‘Developing indicators of Peace’,  piloted by Future Generations University in collaboration with the United States Institute of Peace. Uchenna’s skills include an in-depth understanding of community working systems in developing countries;linking policy analysis and emerging issues to plans; understanding of pro-poor and gender issues indevelopment, an excellent team player, good interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.

As a promoter of culture and diversity, Gerald Nkusi is a travel ecopreneur with Adventure Afrika and founder of Home of Kigezi (a Museum of Living Culture and Natural History), Nkunga Eco Village, and the Food Forest Africa movement. His roots and home are in Kisoro, a part of the Kigezi region in Uganda. Starting as a waiter trading long nights of work for education at the famous Makerere University 2006 and a US Exchange Alumni-IVLP 2017, he has transformed into a local and global actor in the cultural heritage and conservation space. Gerald's Food Forest Africa movement is revolutionizing the use of small and waste spaces for food, health, education and environment to help counter food insecurity, poor nutrition, and the degradation of natural resources.

I help run a UK charity that builds the capacity of conservationists to plan, implement, monitor, and report on their work. I also have a fair bit of experience in tiger and sea turtle conservation.

I enjoy doing things that are meaningful, related to #nature and #people. My work experience consists of 10 years in human resources in the corporate world, followed by 12 years in the nonprofit sector, in fundraising & development roles for social and then conservation organisations (intl and national level). Earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in organizational psychology in Romania, my home country. I have moved to the Netherlands with my family in 2023, and enjoy working for WWF International as Senior Specialist in the Global Conservation Division.

I am a third-year student at African Leadership University pursuing a Bachelor of Global Challenges degree, graduating in June 2024. I'm passionate about working in the environmental and wildlife conservation industry to use skills gained from my tertiary education and make a difference as a research professional. Hello Everyone , My name is Eric Kinoti. I am from Kenya , currectly working in Watamu, Kilifi county as a research assistant. I love working in the conservation because it gives me a meaning and the need to conserve our planet for the future is the main reason that i chose this career path.

I have been dealing with chemical-free production systems, organic farming and the issue of biodiversity for a decade. I run a bird nest station on my own farm, where I research the possibilities of cooperation between birds and people. During my work, I developed an agricultural production system that uses the ecosystem services of birds to help implement agroecological practices while making the landscape healthier. It was named the bird-human cooperation system. My goal is to create a win-win relationship that realizes the long-term sustainable use of land and landscape, with particular attention to agricultural production systems.

I am excited to have joined the Wild Hub platform as it provides a platform for me to engage with like-minded individuals who are passionate about environmental conservation. As a final year student at African Leadership University, majoring in Global Challenges with a focus on environmental conservation, I am committed to ensuring the protection of endangered plant species and the promotion of sustainable conservation practices. My interest in environmental conservation has led me to work on various research projects, including assessing the impacts of exotic plant species on the ecology of one of the National Parks in Rwanda. Through this project, I was able to gain insights into the complexities involved in managing invasive species and the need for a sustainable approach to conservation. I also had the privilege of working on pre-impact assessments for the expansion of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. This experience allowed me to understand the importance of incorporating the perspectives of local communities in conservation initiatives. Recently, I worked on a project with the Capitals Coalition on sustainable and impact analysis, where I was involved in a case study. This experience enabled me to develop a deeper understanding of the need to integrate economic, social, and environmental considerations in conservation efforts. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with the National Geographic Society and he Nature Conservancy on a freshwater and community conservation externship. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the complexities of freshwater management and the importance of engaging with local communities in conservation efforts.
