Water management in salt flats and arid climates Work with indigenous communities
Three species of African pangolins are found in the Dzanga Sangha Forest Reserve, a dense tropical rainforest reserve in the southwestern tip of the Central African Republic. I conduct ecological research and manage a budding community monitoring initiative for the Sangha Pangolin Project. Monitoring the local pangolin scale trade, camera trapping, promoting community science, understanding local perceptions, and mapping community forest areas to better serve the local and indigenous communities are my main areas of focus.
I work for department of Wildlife and National Parks, under the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism in Botswana. i am the head of Multilateral Environmental Agreements Unit. In addition, i act as a department focal project officer for UNDP programme which aims to address human wildlife interface in the western part of Botswana, the project has 3 components (projects). i sit on TRG meetings and also report progress to my superiors. i have more than 15 years in wildlife conservation, most of the years i spent working as Park Ranger within the park and it happened that i supervised most of the projects undertaken within the park and its proximity. for example Northern Botswana Human Wildlife Co-existence that aimed to reduce human wildlife conflict in the Chobe District.

I´m PM4R Master certificated for BID and I work as a Project Manager at Natura International, an NGO dedicated to the creation of protected areas. I am in my last year of Biology at the National University of Cordoba and I am doing my final thesis on mammals in a reserve in my province. During my career I have done volunteer work in La Coronilla, Uruguay with sea turtles and I am currently doing a research internship in the project "Defaunacion de la mastofauna en la porción Sur del Gran Chaco Americano". I would like to specialize in conservation and ecology
