Seeking Scholarship/Sponsorship Provided by an External Body for PhD in Australia!
Hello everyone,
I am currently seeking guidance and potential opportunities for securing external scholarship or sponsorship to pursue a PhD in Australia in the field of wildlife conservation and ecology.
My background includes an MPhil in Wildlife Management and a BS (Hons) in Forestry, along with hands-on experience in biodiversity monitoring, camera trapping, telemetry, and community-based conservation through organizations such as WWF-Pakistan, MPCEN and IUCN. I have also published research related to species conservation and habitat disturbance.
At present, I am exploring the option of applying under “Scholarship/Sponsorship Provided by an External Body,” as self-funding is not feasible for me. I am particularly interested in conservation planning, species distribution, and applied ecological research.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on:
-External funding bodies or scholarships open to international students-Project-based funding opportunities that can collab-Strategies to strengthen funding applications
If anyone has experience with similar pathways or can point me toward relevant opportunities, I would be very grateful.
Thank you for your time and support.
Best Regards,
Misbah Bint Riaz
