Since July 2025, I have been serving as the Community Advocates Coordinator at WildHub, where I coordinate initiatives to engage, support, and empower our community advocates in advancing WH’s mission. Beyond WildHub, I wear a few different hats. I work as a researcher and lecturer in Sweden, teaching courses on environmental law, political and historical ecology, and disaster risk management. I also mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, collaborate with faculty members, and contribute to ongoing research projects. I’m passionate about giving back through volunteer work. I support a few conservation and animal welfare organisations with research and advocacy to help drive positive change. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking forest trails with my dog or enjoying a good cup of coffee.

I am Fleur, based in the UK, and I am the WildHub Conservation Catalyst Programme Coordinator.  I am a Master's degree graduate in Animal Behaviour from The University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Science graduate in Psychology from Oxford Brookes University. I have researched woodland butterflies, bumblebees and have a strong interest in woodland animals, as well as comprehensive knowledge and expertise in domestic rabbits and their welfare and care. I am so passionate about the field of wildlife conservation, bunny rabbits, and with a background in Psychology I am also passionate about connecting humans on similar paths when things can feel isolating.

Experienced Environmental Engineer/Consultant with a proven track record of leading successful environmental initiatives and delivering sustainable solutions. My expertise encompasses a diverse range of areas, including Baseline Studies, Environment Impact Assessments (EIA/IEE/ESIA), Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, and Environmental Conservation & Sustainability. Currently, I am making a significant impact as an Environmental Engineer/Consultant at one of the leading Environmental Consultancy, specializing in preparing comprehensive environmental study reports for clients primarily from Hamriyah Free Zone Sharjah and Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority Dubai. These reports play a crucial role in promoting environmental compliance and sustainable practices within the industry.

Mr. Paudel currently serves as a senior program manager at Bird Conservation Nepal. He has over fourteen years of experience in bird and biodiversity conservation, fundraising, project planning and implementation, and engaging with local communities to safeguard threatened bird species.

I was born in Kenya and have lived i the UK for 42 years now. My many years of working with small businesses and running various events to raise the profile of the businesses, has landed me a post for fundraiser Trustee for a UK wildlife Hospital. The founders of the hospital are very seasoned friends of mine and their dedication to saving every wildlife animal bird that comes through their door, is simply inspirational.  Therefore, I want to learn more about writing funding applications and grant applications. I also want to share my experiences of what has worked for us and what has not. Hopefully, we can all become better at doing what we do, through skill sharing. 

I’m Alexandra Verdes, an ecologist and environmental project manager with over 5 years of experience in the NGO and conservation sector. I currently work with WWF Romania, supporting the implementation of various projects, including cross-border initiatives focused on wildlife connectivity and conservation in the Carpathians, as well as forestry, innovation, and climate change projects. My academic background includes a Master’s in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation and specialised training in animal-assisted therapy, waste management, and environmental education. I’ve also worked with youth groups, local communities, and international partners to organise different events, trainings, and outreach programs. My key interests include: 🟢Biodiversity protection: wildlife and forestry conservation 🟢 Wildlife crime- illegal logging (new interest) 🟢 Environmental education 🟢 Community involvement in conservation 🟢 Project coordination and donor reporting I’m enthusiastic about collaboration, sharing knowledge, and learning from others working in the field of nature conservation.

        I am an emerging environmental and climate change professional focused on Environment management, climate action, and sustainable natural resource governance. I am currently in my final year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environment and Climate Change at Mukuba University, with a growing orientation toward applied, policy relevant, and community grounded solutions.       My professional experience includes industrial attachment with the Mansa Forestry Department in Luapula Province, where I gained practical exposure to forest management, conservation planning, and the operational realities of environmental governance. This experience reinforced my interest in forests as critical climate systems and strengthened my commitment to linking ecosystem protection with local livelihoods and resilience.         I bring a strong blend of technical, leadership, and advocacy credentials. My training includes ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Awareness, GIS applications in conservation mapping, leadership in climate change, natural conservation education, climate change and human health, and WASH related environmental programming. These competencies position me at the intersection of environmental management, spatial analysis, public health linkages, and climate leadership, with an emphasis on evidence based action.         Beyond formal training, I have demonstrated leadership through regional and grassroots engagement. I served as the 2024 Africa Ambassador for the Healthy Environmentally Friendly Youth Campaign and remain actively involved with the Mukuba University Climate Change Action Society and the Copperbelt Institute of Natural Resources and Climate Change. I have contributed to tree planting initiatives and community mobilization under platforms such as the Keep Your Promise Campaign, advocating for climate justice and accountability.         My long term direction is centered on advancing practical solutions in forest conservation, environmental management systems, and climate policy implementation. I am particularly interested in roles that allow me to integrate science, leadership, and community engagement to drive sustainable and measurable environmental impact in Zambia and across Africa.

I'm Liane, and I am a WildLearning Specialist at WildTeam! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all! For the last few years, I've been working in Seychelles, focusing on island and marine conservation efforts, particularly coral restoration and turtle nesting monitoring. If you ask me questions about coral, be prepared for me to get very nerdy about it! Prior to that, I was managing a project in Northern Thailand, where I worked closely with a local community to set up ethical elephant experiences in their village. In my free time, I love running and hiking, and being anywhere in nature. I have also learnt to freedive in the last few years and enjoy doing that when possible. I'm really interested in talking to different people and learning from them and their unique experiences.

Nature and Wildlife have always been a part of me since I can remember, well, since i got curious as to why my father( Environmental Scientist) had a green and yellow pen with the WWF inscription and logo contrary with the WWF I knew( Wrestling). With over a decade of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical sector, I'm excited to apply my skills in strategic communication and stakeholder engagement to conservation efforts. I'm particularly interested in habitats preservation, human-Wildlife conflict mitigation, and species protection. I'm looking to connect with like-minded professionals, learn from their experiences, and contribute to meaningful conservation projects.

Damas has MSc in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation for Water Resources and Environment Management from University of Twenty in Netherlands, is a well-trained Civil & Water Resources Engineer and Environment Expert. his expertise lies in areas of Hydrological Modeling, WASH, community-based natural resources management, institutional strengthening, GIS and Remote Sensing, governance, Integrated Water Resources Management, Climate Change, Environmental Impact Assessment, Payment for Ecosystem Services, Strategic Environmental Assessment, Development of Land use and Forest Management plans, Stakeholders engagement in development process and Resources mobilization, Forest Landscape Restoration, Wetland mapping and monitoring, Project Monitoring and Evaluation and Design of hydro-meteorological monitoring stations. He possesses 12 years of progressive practical experience in the Water and Conservation sector in Tanzania. He has hands-on experience in planning, designing, managing, and executing Water Resources Management Projects as well as Conservation Programs. Damas has worked with various organizations including the Ministry of Water in Tanzania as Hydrologist he was involved in the development of Integrated Water Resources Development and Management Plan (IWRMDP) of the Lake Nyasa Basin Water Board, Songwe River Basin Management Plan (SRBMP), He has also been working with African Wildlife Foundation (AWF-International Conservation Organization) coordinating water resources management programs, and he is currently working with WWF as Program Executant WASH and IWRM. He is mainly responsible with coordination and delivery of Mara River Catchment Conservation (MRC) Project (USAID funded Project) and Mara Wetland Conservation Project (WetCoP) in the Serengeti - Mara sub-landscape of the Southern Kenya – Northern Tanzania (SOKNOT) Landscape.

I am a graduate of BSc in Environmental Science I have skills and experience in managing environmentally sustainable projects as a researcher, field officer, M & E, and project manager.  I have handled WASH, Waste4Health, Wildlife conservation, and distributed renewable energy projects in various capacities.                                                                                              I am an outgoing, dedicated, ready-to-learn person who does everything possible to achieve the intended result.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

My background is mainly in species conservation, education and capacity exchange. I researched mother-young interactions in gorillas and chimpanzees, in captivity and the wild. After that, I worked for three years in Indonesia, where I developed and implemented youth ambassador and community engagement programmes on local and regional scales. I co-founded WildHub, a community of nature conservation professionals, in 2020 and work as their Community Lead. I am furthermore on the Advisory Board of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022.
