That is such an insightful post, Virginia! I absolutely agree that the global climate conversations are very disengaged from the ground realities. More local communities should be a part of the decision-making.
A small example from Bangladesh is that a few farmers are planting more indigenous seeds, which can endure harsh weather conditions and help farmers become self-sufficient without depending on large seed companies. And the number of farmers is growing gradually!
But this is a topic we should talk about more! So, thank you so much for sharing🌻
