I've focused my studies on Conservation Biology since the beginning of my studies, completing them with a Master in Primates Conservation at Oxford Brookes University. Since then I've tried to work or volunteer in Conservation mainly in Africa (Uganda and Madagascar), however I had to pause my career due to Covid and only recfently restarted to cover the ranger position at Vatnajokull National park in Icceland and project manager for NGB genetics.

I not so recently obtained my Master’s in Wildlife Management Engineering and have entered the workforce in an entry level position. Currently working as an environmental education intern for the only national zoological garden in South Africa. I am looking for new opportunities to gain skills and knowledge that will enable me to be successful and an asset in whichever organisation or company (within wildlife conservation) that I collaborate with or join. I look forward to gaining and building great partnerships in this community. 

With a Master’s Degree in Wildlife Conservation and nearly 9 years of experience in India’s biodiversity conservation sector, my professional journey has been enriching and diverse. Having worked at both field and administrative levels, I have been fortunate to gain invaluable experiences that continue to shape my passion for wildlife conservation. I remain eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to this vital field. As a field wildlife veterinarian, I had the privilege of managing and coordinating operations at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Northeast India. This hands-on role allowed me to oversee the well-being of rescued wild animals, ensuring their proper care and rehabilitation. Later, I worked on a project focused on emergency response during natural disasters, collaborating with multiple teams under challenging conditions. My last field role involved working alongside a primary response team to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts in forest-fringe areas of North India. Outside of my formal roles, I actively volunteered in wildlife rescues, biodiversity surveys, and provided veterinary assistance, whenever possible. Currently, as a Projects Manager at a leading Wildlife Conservation Charity in India, I have transitioned into a strategic and administrative role. I oversee project planning, fundraising, and resource management. Additionally, I contribute to organizational operations, including financial planning and compliance. Bridging the gap between on-ground conservation efforts and strategic project management allows me to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams - which is always a great experince! My passion remains deeply rooted in protecting India’s rich and diverse ecosystems, and I am committed to making a meaningful impact in this field. 

I am an experienced Research Scientist- Botanist with a proven track record of project management and successful floristic surveys. I am competent in preparing and executing project plans to ensure that every opportunity to promote the scientific contribution and preservation and conservation of Biodiversity. I looking at combining my knowledge in botany to understand wildlife conservation through their interactions and stakeholder engagement in managing and conserving the wildlife in Kenya and globaly

I am a Malawian,  a graduate from the University of Malawi, a passionate young climate activist, a founder and executive director of  a nascent environmental leadership organization, Resilient-Gen. I have  profound experience in community mobilization, community engagement not to mention resource mobilization. I love all things green!!

I am currently a doctoral student in the LMI SHUNT International Mixed Laboratory program on the sustainability of the hunting system in the Dahomey Gap (Benin). This is part of the collaboration between the Research Institute for Development (IRD) and the Laboratory of Applied Ecology (LEA) of the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC). I am currently doing my research on the conservation of the habitats of this hunting system. I am a research assistant at the Applied Ecology Laboratory at the University of Abomey-Calavi. Thus, from 2022 to 2023, I was a facilitator in a project to restore sacred forests in South Benin.

In Pursuit of making positive impact, I have been closely Working with frontier communities living adjacent a protected area to promote economic resilience, a shared sense of responsibility, wildlife and environmental conservation. My interest lies in working with women to see promotion of autonomy in all aspects pertaining development, conservation and growth. I believe that engaging women in social change through development is a step closer to an inclusive society. In addition am a staunch lover of biodiversity conservation. Volunteering has been an integral part of my journey and I have actively participated in environmental conservation campaigns as well as Humanitarian support to the less fortunate- guided by the spirit of "UBUNTU" Am based in Kenya -Tsavo Conservation Area. 

I'm MUGOGO MARK with experience in wildlife tourism management , i'm an educator and a Conservationists i'm the founder and CEO of Uganda Environmental Conservationists Organization a youth lead Organization which aims to conseve Uganda's rich biodiversity , Preserve the natural resources and fight against climate change. I'm interested in educating young Pupil's in primary about Conservation work, tree planting and waste Management. I've a 3 year's experience guiding tourists , 4 year's experience doing Conservation work at Uganda Environmental Conservationists Organization.
