Thank you Thirza, as an environmentalist I carry out these roles and responsibilities;
1. Initiating and coordinating environmental monitoring and auditing- this helps our organization know the extent each project has on the environment and also know how to minimize them.
2. Carrying out environmental impact assessment
3. Developing implementing and reviewing environmental management plans- this helps in ensuring our contractors comply with the required environmental protection and mitigation.
4 Assisting in the interpretation of environmental requirements in the field among others.
