COMMUNICATION IN CONSERVATION: Conservation Careers Workshop
Wednesday 11th January, 7.30 - 8.30pm, Zoom
Book your space - https://andanotherplace.wixsite.com/home
The world of conservation is all about story-telling, but how important is it to tell these effectively? From public engagement to print and broadcast media, learn more about career paths which focus on communicating conservation work.
Our guest speaker is Rory Crawford, a conservationist and TV/radio presenter with a particular love of the sea. Rory has worked for the RSPB for 15 years, working on reserves, engaging people with nature in cities and working on marine policy. He is currently seconded to work on the People’s Assembly for Nature, tasked with developing a plan to protect and restore nature in the UK by 2030
This will be followed by a Q&A in a relaxed and informal space. We welcome all who are thinking about a career change, currently studying, volunteering or simply with an interest in this area.

Thank you so much for sharing Kirsty I have just signed up. I had the pleasure of working with Rory a couple of weekends okay and he is fantastic. How do you go about selecting who to have as a guest speaker or do you receive requests to be a part of this?
