I based this exercise on the project I am currently involved in: Sulawesi Bear Cuscus (Ailurops ursinus) in-situ and ex-situ conservation program. It involves several parties: local authorities, local conservation organizations and zoological gardens both in Europe and Indonesia. The main threats to the species are hunting (bush meat) and illegal export, so the project must engage the local communities.
