Hello WildHub community,

I’m Rocío Márquez Frochoso, a biologist collaborating with WILDCARES SP, an environmental association in Málaga, Spain. We work to protect local biodiversity through wildlife rescue, habitat restoration, and environmental education.

Right now, we’re working on our most ambitious project yet:

✨ “Espacio de Esperanza para la Fauna de Málaga” – a pioneering rescue and rehabilitation centre for wild birds, with the goal of becoming a specialised facility for seabirds in the future.

🏗️ What this centre will do

✅ Rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and displaced birds
✅ Fill a critical gap in Málaga, where there’s currently no dedicated facility for protected species
✅ Host educational activities to raise awareness and reconnect communities with nature, including people with disabilities

We already have the land and the permits — now we just need your help to begin building the first phase of this much-needed sanctuary.

⏳ Why it’s urgent

We must reach a minimum of €8,000 to secure the platform’s approval to keep fundraising. Without reaching this first goal, the campaign cannot continue.

There are only 3 days left — the crowdfunding closes this Wednesday!
