Chats with conservationists about their lives, careers, challenges, and what makes a difference for wildlife. In this interview, I talk to Jon Slaght, Wildlife Conservation Society about his work in the Russian far east trying to secure a home for the largest owl in the world.
There are 3 parts to this interview.
In part 3 Jon talks about how you can break into the conservation sector, and the importance of communication, relationship building, and language skills.
Executive Director, WildTeam UK
I help run a UK charity that builds the capacity of conservationists to plan, implement, monitor, and report on their work. I also have a fair bit of experience in tiger and sea turtle conservation.
