Bardiya: Living With Tigers (Nepal)
I'd like to share a incredible story with you all if that's ok. We're currently on a family trip called Project Wild Earth. More info here: 👉 https://projectwildearth.com/
As part of this project, we spend time with inspirational conservation projects around the world that not only inspire but have substance and a good track record. The idea is that if we can tell their story, it not only gets the word out, but perhaps it can be used as a blueprint by others in similar situations. The storytelling idea came from Dr Jane Goodall, and it's working, which is incredible to see! 😊 This one is particularly special.
We actually drove all the way across Nepal just to tell this story. We couldn't stop thinking about it. You'll see why when you watch it... it's a fairly extreme case, but if we can find a self-sustaining solution here, it can really help with other similar, less complex situations around the world. Please do like, subscribe, and share this story far and wide amoungst your networks, we would really appreciate it.
It truly is amazing the impact these young volunteers are having in Bardiya. But they can only do so much with what they have. Now they just need support to take it to the next level. We have a small team now working behind the scenes to get them to a point where they will be self sustaining. If you’d like to help these young volunteers please click here. Every contribution goes directly to the CBAPU allowing them to continue their extraordinary work.
If you have any further ideas or would like to help in other ways, please let us know here. 👉 https://projectwildearth.com/contact-us or via our social media channels. (See the website for these) Thank you so much in advance. 🙏
If you’d like to visit Bardiya, and would like to connect directly with the Community-Based Anti-Poaching Unit (CBAPU), please click here. They can help arrange visits to the community forest, treehouse, safaris, camera trap data collection, accommodation including homestays, and more.
