Seeking PhD Supervision & Funding Opportunity | Integrated Hydro-Ecological Modeling for Wildlife Conservation in Pakistan
Hello WildHub community,
I am seeking PhD supervision and funding opportunities for my proposed research titled:
“Integrated Hydro-Ecological Modeling and Water Resources Governance for Sustainable Wildlife Conservation in Pakistan’s Salt Range Ecosystem.”
I hold a Master’s and MPhil in Geography with strong expertise in GIS, remote sensing, spatial analysis, habitat modeling, and wildlife landscape assessment. I have worked extensively with government and conservation organizations on wetland biodiversity, wildlife habitat mapping, flood simulations, land use/land cover change, and community-based conservation planning.
My proposed PhD research aims to:
-
Develop integrated hydro-ecological models to assess water availability and quality for wildlife habitats.
-
Analyze the impacts of climate change, water extraction, and land-use change on biodiversity in the Salt Range.
-
Examine water governance frameworks and community-based water management practices.
-
Propose sustainable, evidence-based strategies for wildlife conservation through improved water resource governance.
I am highly motivated to collaborate with universities, supervisors, research institutes, and funded projects working in hydrology, ecohydrology, conservation science, and environmental governance. I am open to opportunities globally and welcome guidance, collaborations, or referrals.
If you are interested in supervising this research or know of potential opportunities, I would be grateful to connect.
Thank you for your time and support.
