I am a recent graduate from the University of Oxford MSc Biodiversity, Conservation and Management. I am very familiar with R coding and have utilised this most recently in research to investigate the biophysical drivers of coral reef benthic communities and coral traits in French Polynesian coral reefs. I am hoping to go into environmental/conservation policy, particularly UK policy but am also excited by the science-policy interface.
Hello! My name is Brooklynne Mitchell-Arno and I am currently a staff assistant at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts.
In 2023 I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in animal science and a degree in conservation journalism. At university I also worked with iCons, an integrated concentration program that prepares students for careers in STEM. In this position, I worked as a journalist, and one of my published works can be found here.
After graduation, for six months, I was fortunate to live in Costa Rica and intern at the Toucan Rescue Ranch, a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center located outside San Jose. In this position, I worked with a variety of species, but most of my work involved the care and rehabilitation of infant and juvenile sloths (Choloepus hoffmanni).
Upon returning to the United States, in addition to my position at Tufts, I also write articles for the New England Primate Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that strives to make the complex science behind primate protection and wildlife conservation more accessible!
Hello! I am happy to join Wildhub in order to connect more with the conservation community as I make my way into this broad field of study!

I'm Liane, and I am a WildLearning Specialist at WildTeam! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!
For the last few years, I've been working in Seychelles, focusing on island and marine conservation efforts, particularly coral restoration and turtle nesting monitoring. If you ask me questions about coral, be prepared for me to get very nerdy about it! Prior to that, I was managing a project in Northern Thailand, where I worked closely with a local community to set up ethical elephant experiences in their village.
In my free time, I love running and hiking, and being anywhere in nature. I have also learnt to freedive in the last few years and enjoy doing that when possible. I'm really interested in talking to different people and learning from them and their unique experiences.
Having finished my degree in Zoo Science, I am looking towards inclusive employment/volunteer opportunities as well as expanding my knowledge and my community. I am passionate about animals, ecology, disability, writing and the interlink between global systems and environment.
Kashmir World Foundation (KwF) collaborates with academics and industry experts to develop autonomous systems for wildlife conservation and counter-poaching of endangered species worldwide. As KwF's Director of International Relations, my role drives global conservation and counter-poaching efforts by fostering partnerships with national and international organizations. My priorities include strategic partnerships, communication, and multilateral outreach to address real-world challenges.
I'm a freelance scientist/consultant looking for my next project collaboration. I'm a biologist and geographer by education/training. My primary experience is in East and southern Africa but I work on broad projects remotely. My latest publication was on mountain goats and crowd sourcing community photography to investigate phenology.
I am a lover of all wildlife and consider myself a generalist with many interests. I'm currently an amateur herpetologist trying to navigate my understanding in my new country of residence. I'm a life long learner and looking for my next collaboration. I'm currently trying to learn R in the hopes of improving my ability to work on future projects.
I am a storyteller and conservation communicator based in Mozambique. With a background in psychology, political science, and education, I weave together human-centered narratives that reflect the complexities of conservation work on the ground. Formerly a homeschooling teacher in a remote game reserve, I now work across departments to spotlight untold stories, bridge cultures, and explore the emotional landscape of environmental work.
