Young biologist promoting conservation using green livelihood initiatives in the North West District of Guyana; looking to connect with like minded professionals.
An explorer and an aspirant biodiversity conservation researcher. I seek to delve deeper into the study of the human-nature nexus and strive to foster more harmonious coexistence. I have gained brief experience in wildlife conservation at the Creative Conservation Alliance, working with Western Hoolock Gibbons and a few other wild animals. I am also working as an Associate Trainer at Mekateam, a game-based pedagogy where I provide training on basic climate literacy and biodiversity conservation to youth. Moreover, I synthesize and express my understanding of biodiversity and the natural world through my initiative, 'Toru.' Currently, I am undertaking research on Asian Elephants addressing the human-elephant conflict in Bangladesh.
I am on a journey to build a community resource and tech hub inspired by my own experience as a product of a youth centre. My vision is to fight poverty by empowering young people with leadership, digital, and professional skills. Through mentorship and accessible education, I aim to create a space where youth can thrive, bridging the gap in opportunities and equipping them to build sustainable futures. This hub will be a beacon for innovation, learning, and growth, driving lasting change in our community.
One of our programs Is under Climate Justice where we encourage formation of climate clubs among institutions in order to conserve our environment by planting trees & cleaning the ocean.

I am an MSc candidate in Biodiversity and Ecosystems Management at NM-AIST, with a BSc in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture. I have hands-on experience from fieldworks in national parks, including Udzungwa, Ruaha, and Saadani. My current focus is on the adaptive management of Parthenium hysterophorus, integrating community perspectives and its sustainable ecological control. I’m Passionate about conservation that works with people, not just around them. My work blends with field research, geospatial analysis (QGIS, Land Cover Raster Mapping), and stakeholder engagement. I'm especially drawn to an inclusive conservation ethos, ready to learn, contribute, and grow as part of a team building a wilder and more resilient future.
