I am a soon to be graduate with a degree in Biology. I am committed to the conservation of wildlife and the protection of the environment. With a strong curiosity about how natural systems function and interconnect, I bring both passion and dedication to my work. My career goal is to contribute to wildlife research and conservation efforts, where I can combine my enthusiasm for the natural world with strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. I have done an internship at ZooTampa and enjoy working with animals. I hope to be able to work at a national park one day.
I’m a designer, communications professional and storyteller passionate about using creativity to inspire meaningful connection with the natural world. With 5+ years of interdisciplinary design experience, I bring ideas to life across mediums—from exhibit panels and interpretive graphics to websites, campaigns, and digital storytelling. My approach is concept-first and strategy-driven: every project starts with why, ensuring design is both meaningful and impactful.
I’ve partnered with mission-driven organizations like the ASPCA, cultural institutions like the Museum of the Earth, and brands like Converse, leading projects that span digital, print, and experiential touchpoints. I’ve launched campaigns, animated social motion graphics, edited copy, lead workshops, built responsive websites, and designed everything from annual reports to environmental graphics – all while keeping teams aligned and deadlines on track.
Before moving into design full-time, I was in the field: running outdoor education programs, banding saw-whet owls, checking deer track transects at dawn, and pit-tagging salamanders. Those experiences taught me the value of curiosity, patience, and translating complex environmental ideas into experiences people can actually connect with. That same rigor and care now guide every project I take on.
I blend digital precision through UI/UX, design systems, motion—with environmental storytelling, exhibit graphics, interpretive panels—to spark wonder, encourage stewardship, and leave lasting impressions. Storytelling has always been my guide, whether leading a kid through the rhythms of a forest or helping an organization share its values with the world.
If you’re passionate about using design to make people care—about ideas, nature, or your mission, I’d love to connect. Let’s make something meaningful together.
As an Environmental Education Coordinator, I am committed to advancing environmental awareness and sustainable development through education, capacity building, and community engagement. My expertise includes designing and implementing environmental education programs that promote conservation, climate resilience, and responsible resource management. I have successfully coordinated school and community-based initiatives focused on waste management, biodiversity conservation, water stewardship, and climate change adaptation.
My role has involved developing training materials, facilitating workshops, and supporting the establishment of environmental clubs that empower students and local communities to take practical action toward sustainability. I work collaboratively with educators, local authorities, and stakeholders to integrate environmental education into school curricula and community development plans.
I am particularly interested in linking environmental education with socio-economic development, demonstrating how sustainable practices contribute to improved livelihoods and resilience to environmental challenges. Through strategic coordination, continuous learning, and evidence-based outreach, I aim to inspire behavioral change and nurture environmentally responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to the protection and restoration of our ecosystems.
I have worked on sustainable solutions to human-wildlife conflicts, supporting local livelihoods while preserving biodiversity. As a researcher around Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda, I combine research, advocacy, and community engagement to promote coexistence between humans and wildlife, balancing conservation with community needs.

Hi there! Passionate about nature and words, I decided to become a wildlife and environment news writer. I'm published currently in Greenauve, but I hope soon to bring my voice to more media outlets. I'm also an editor, content creator, and I volunteer wherever I can help (currently with Wildya), especially when it comes to wildlife. I'm here to learn more from the amazing initiatives that exists around the world and get inspirations for news articles. If you have a brilliant idea, a wild project or research paper that you think might be of my interests, feel free to reach out! i'm also looking at expanding my list of experts to get insights from and feature in my articles.

Experienced conservationist and development practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the Nonprofit Organization Management industry since 2003. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Sustainable Development, Environmental Awareness, Community Development, Human and Wildlife Conflict Management, Report Writing, and Climate Change. I am an ecologist working in the field of biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration. My work involves planning and supervising restoration interventions across diverse ecosystems, including forests, grasslands, wetlands, savannas, and reed beds. I focus on site-based approaches such as invasive species removal, soil and vegetation monitoring, and implementing ecotype-specific planting strategies.
My academic and field experience spans a range of ecological themes, including ecotoxicology, soil ecology, water quality, plant invasion, plant metabolites, and palynology. I’m particularly interested in understanding how these components influence ecosystem recovery and using that knowledge to guide practical, context-driven restoration efforts.
Currently, I am engaged in a large-scale ecological restoration project with Auroville Botanical Services in Pune, India, where I’m closely involved in site execution and ecological supervision.
I’m Anya Dabite, a conservationist and researcher from Cameroon with experience in elephant monitoring using camera traps, mangrove restoration, and training youth and women in conservation leadership. I joined WildHub to engage with a global network of conservation professionals, exchange practical knowledge, and explore collaborative solutions for community-led conservation, environmental education, and climate resilience. I believe in empowering local voices and building capacity to drive sustainable change from the ground up.
I am currently trying to get back into the conservation world but struggling to find any openings.
I am a Zoology graduate and focused on pollinator abundance and diversity along an urban gradient from the CBD to the agricultural outskirts of Leeds.
I have also spent time in Madagascar volunteering for a charity called SEED. During this time I undertook three daily surveys from transect walks as well as planting trees corridors to connect the multiplying forest fragments and sorting through guano, examining the seed species.
My most recent action for conservation was through a more creative side. I created a pop-up book concerning the rewilding of beavers into the UK. This was a way to encourage children and other tactile people to think and care about UK wildlife and the drastic effect one species can have on an ecosystem through trophic Cascades. This book included interactive tabs, fun vibrant characters and soft materials to engage the reader.
