About Me Hello everyone! I’m Dr Gilles Rolin Ananfack Kenfack, a passionate environmental advocate from Cameroon, dedicated to the sustainable management of our natural resources and the conservation of biodiversity. I hold a PhD in Integrated Management of Forest and Agroforestry Resources from the University of Dschang, where I also completed my Master’s in Natural Resource Management and Agroforestry. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, which laid the groundwork for my analytical approach to environmental issues. My Expertise With extensive experience in project management and community-driven initiatives, I specialize in integrated resource management, biodiversity conservation, and the restoration of degraded landscapes. As the founder and president of the Cameroonian Association for the Promotion of Bamboo, Environmental Protection, Nature Conservation, and Local Development (BambouCamer), I focus on promoting bamboo as a sustainable resource that can drive local development and enhance environmental conservation. My role as Director of Programs at the Community Association for Sustainable Development (CASuDev) involves coordinating various conservation and restoration projects, including efforts to protect the forest elephant population in the Campo Ma’an National Park and restoring degraded landscapes in Babadjou. I am also skilled in community mobilization, capacity building, technical report writing, and social and environmental impact assessments. Throughout my career, I have successfully collaborated with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to create sustainable and equitable solutions to pressing environmental challenges. My Interests I am particularly interested in agroforestry, the application of agroecological practices, and leveraging the potential of bamboo for environmental and economic sustainability. I am committed to advancing environmental sustainability and empowering communities, ensuring that development initiatives are both ecologically sound and socially just. I have just completed my BSc degree in Natural Resource Management (Wildlife & Ecotourism), from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, i also hold a Diploma in Environmental Management. i specialised in wildlife management, GIS and Remote sensing, Research,Biodiversity conservation, ornithology, ecosystem managment, watershed and wetland management, eco tourism planing, environmental education, population ecology and sustainable land mangement. As a wildlife conservationist and a student at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Umudike, Abia state, Nigeria, I am deeply engaged in the study of forestry and environmental management. Additionally, I actively participate as a volunteer for the Nigerian Bird Atlas Project, a vital initiative led by the AP Leventis Ornithological Research Institute in Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria. Furthermore, I contribute my time and efforts as a volunteer at the Biodiversity Preservation Center in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. My passion for nature extends beyond my academic and volunteer commitments. I find joy in immersing myself in the wilderness, whether it be in the field or forest, where I engage in activities such as planting trees and capturing captivating photographs that showcase the beauty of our natural world. My area of interest in primate behaviors, not only because I have a background in zoology and conservation but also as someone who spent most of my time with primates. Moreover, I have some skills related to people vs wildlife conflict around PAs. currently, I'm working as a research assistant in mountain gorilla behavior data collection at Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund | Rwanda.

I am Sandra, a Conservation Technologist experienced in the use of GIS technologies like QGIS, EarthRanger software, Google Earth Pro in the collection, manipulation and delivery of geographic data to enable evidence-based decision-making in wildlife and habitat monitoring in the Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth and Kidepo Valley National parks in Uganda as well as MS Project. My love for wildlife conservation and habitat management as well as travelling new places leads me to appreciate our surroundings and the need to protect them.

Am a passionate, transparent person who wishes to see wildlife and humans thrive together in harmony. I graduated from the Department of Wildlife Science, University of Juba in South Sudan. Am interested in networking with people from different backgrounds and experiences, learning necessary skills needed to contribute significantly to conserving wildlife, sharing ideas. I voluntered with South Sudan Wildlife Society as a conservation education officer from 2019 to 2020, from 2021 until today, am volunteering as a Program Coordinator.

A Florida native and University of West Florida alum, she has pursued advanced studies in Tropical Forest Landscapes Conservation and Restoration at Yale University. She has expanded her knowledge in Science Communication and Sustainable Development Goals through Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additionally, she has gained expertise in Large Marine Ecosystems' Assessment and Management from Cape Town University. In addition to her role as an ecopreneur, she actively engages in volunteer work with environmental and conservation organizations, as well as outreach groups, using her professional skills to contribute meaningfully to the assistance of others.

As a promoter of culture and diversity, Gerald Nkusi is a travel ecopreneur with Adventure Afrika and founder of Home of Kigezi (a Museum of Living Culture and Natural History), Nkunga Eco Village, and the Food Forest Africa movement. His roots and home are in Kisoro, a part of the Kigezi region in Uganda. Starting as a waiter trading long nights of work for education at the famous Makerere University 2006 and a US Exchange Alumni-IVLP 2017, he has transformed into a local and global actor in the cultural heritage and conservation space. Gerald's Food Forest Africa movement is revolutionizing the use of small and waste spaces for food, health, education and environment to help counter food insecurity, poor nutrition, and the degradation of natural resources. 

My name is Nyiramugisha Jennifer from Kisoro a South western part of Uganda within the Virunga trans-boundaries with Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. I offer professional services in the hospitality industry and currently based at Travellers Hotel one of the Oldest and most Celebrated Historical Eco conscious facility within the Gorilla neighbourhoods of Uganda and Rwanda.  I also serve on a governing team that supports all the stakeholders within the Kigezi Tourism Association Umbrella Network. I am passionate about sustainable practices that ecologicaly restore our local landscapes and I am interested in learning and sharing my 14 years of diverse work experiences with the WildHub global community of Actors in the Conservation Space.
