Seeking Support from the WildHub Community – Open to New Opportunities in Conservation
Dear WildHub community,
My name is Fidèle KASANGANDJO MWAGALWA, a Congolese national deeply passionate about environmental conservation and the sustainable management of natural resources. I am an experienced environmental analyst with over five years of field expertise in ecological monitoring, GIS/remote sensing, and anti-poaching strategies.
Until recently, I worked as an Environmental Monitoring and Anti-Poaching Analyst at Garamba National Park under the management of African Parks. Unfortunately, due to the termination of USAID funding, my position—like many others—was discontinued. I have now been unemployed for the past three months, despite my continued commitment and readiness to contribute to conservation efforts wherever I am needed.
Today, I am reaching out to the WildHub community to humbly request support and guidance in finding new opportunities within conservation and natural resource management. I am fully available and willing to relocate to any park or conservation area, in Africa or beyond, where my skills and experience can be put to good use.
During my time at Garamba, I was involved in:
Producing strategic reports for ranger patrol planning.
Conducting spatial analysis on poaching trends.
Assessing human impacts on biodiversity using advanced GIS and remote sensing tools.
Supervising aerial surveillance missions.
I also previously worked as a researcher at the Congo Basin Water Resources Research Center, contributing to hydrological modeling and sustainable development projects.
