With a Master’s Degree in Wildlife Conservation and nearly 9 years of experience in India’s biodiversity conservation sector, my professional journey has been enriching and diverse. Having worked at both field and administrative levels, I have been fortunate to gain invaluable experiences that continue to shape my passion for wildlife conservation. I remain eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to this vital field.
As a field wildlife veterinarian, I had the privilege of managing and coordinating operations at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Northeast India. This hands-on role allowed me to oversee the well-being of rescued wild animals, ensuring their proper care and rehabilitation. Later, I worked on a project focused on emergency response during natural disasters, collaborating with multiple teams under challenging conditions. My last field role involved working alongside a primary response team to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts in forest-fringe areas of North India. Outside of my formal roles, I actively volunteered in wildlife rescues, biodiversity surveys, and provided veterinary assistance, whenever possible.
Currently, as a Projects Manager at a leading Wildlife Conservation Charity in India, I have transitioned into a strategic and administrative role. I oversee project planning, fundraising, and resource management. Additionally, I contribute to organizational operations, including financial planning and compliance. Bridging the gap between on-ground conservation efforts and strategic project management allows me to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams - which is always a great experince! My passion remains deeply rooted in protecting India’s rich and diverse ecosystems, and I am committed to making a meaningful impact in this field.
I am passionate on how to contribute for making a sustainable and better world of living. Thus, I decide to work as communication practitioner and project monitoring and evaluation officer in both conservation and environmental based organization for several years.
I am an Environmentalist. My work focuses on wildlife conservation integrating locals.
I am Geographer, based in Chile.
I worked in Wildlife Research at regional level, installing, monitoring trapcams and modelling occupancy of several carnivores species allong agricultural landscapes in southern Chile.
For the last 3 years I've been working in an NGO focused on urban wetlands conservation and socioenvironmental education. My work is focused on projects design, applications, and on restoration actions and monitoring.
Parallel to my formal work in Conservation and Research, I have worked on agricultural fields as agroecology practitioner.
I am passionated about edible forests and propagation of fruittrees cultivars and rewilding our foodsystem.
