I am a Botanist and conservation enthusiast from the Kenyan coast currently working with local communities to help restore the degraded biodiverse East African Coastal Forests. 

Uchenna is a Chartered Environmentalist, University Lecturer and on secondment to IFAD-funded LivelihoodImprovement Family Enterprises – Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project as Abia State Project Coordinator, a board oftrustee-member of Future Generation University, USA; Chairman - Abia State Chapter of Nigerian Environmental Society (NES); with a doctoral degree in environmental forest ecology. He has over 20 peer-reviewed academic publications, and an international development professional with over 22 years and hasworked at least once in each Nigerian state as an Independent Development Consultant. Also, he hasprovided development consultancy services in India, Nepal, United States of America, Rwanda, Cameroon,United Kingdom and Namibia. Recently, he participated as the Nigerian representative in a-global research titled ‘Developing indicators of Peace’,  piloted by Future Generations University in collaboration with the United States Institute of Peace. Uchenna’s skills include an in-depth understanding of community working systems in developing countries;linking policy analysis and emerging issues to plans; understanding of pro-poor and gender issues indevelopment, an excellent team player, good interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.

As a promoter of culture and diversity, Gerald Nkusi is a travel ecopreneur with Adventure Afrika and founder of Home of Kigezi (a Museum of Living Culture and Natural History), Nkunga Eco Village, and the Food Forest Africa movement. His roots and home are in Kisoro, a part of the Kigezi region in Uganda. Starting as a waiter trading long nights of work for education at the famous Makerere University 2006 and a US Exchange Alumni-IVLP 2017, he has transformed into a local and global actor in the cultural heritage and conservation space. Gerald's Food Forest Africa movement is revolutionizing the use of small and waste spaces for food, health, education and environment to help counter food insecurity, poor nutrition, and the degradation of natural resources. 

I hold an MSc in Conservation Biology from the University of Cape Town, under the FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology. My project was about quantifying raptor abundance trends in Botswana, through raptor road surveys. I drove 26000 km observing and recording any raptors, perching or flying. This infused my passion for nature and wildlife protection and conservation, as I gained experience in handling live birds such as vultures, eagles etc. My interests include bird ringing, outdoor camping, hiking, and going out for picnics. I am currently a researcher for a Honeyguide-Human mutualism investigation project in northern Botswana. I am also training to become a qualified bird ringer.

Madagascar Fauna and Flora Group (MFG), a conservation organisation operating in Toamasina, Madagascar and employing over 100 Malagasy staff. My task is focus on organising and conducting community workshops and capacity building within MFG’s target areas in Madagascar, conducting field and laboratory research using contemporary methods, techniques, and materials, in collaboration with international collaborators, coordinating community-led management of Asian toads (a pest species in Madagascar), coordinating and conducting data collection via community surveys and citizen science to quantify socio-economic impacts of Asian toads in Madagascar, Leading teams of volunteers to conduct field research and community outreach and Managing field data and drafting reports. 

I am an MPhil student at the University of Oxford interested in small-scale fishery in freshwater ecosystems and conservation governance, in which natural resource use is interconnected with local livelihood. I have experience in conducting research, presenting ideas, developing scientific papers, and writing a book.

I am an Environmental Scientist and Marine Ecologist from Kenya, deeply passionate about addressing environmental challenges and empowering marginalized communities. My work focuses on climate change, marine conservation, coastal resilience, and climate adaptation and mitigation. As an MSc Coastal Science and Policy Fellow at the University of California, Santa Cruz, I am committed to working with young people and local communities to co-create climate adaptation strategies that integrate traditional knowledge with scientific insights, fostering inclusive and sustainable climate policies. Beyond science, I am a conservation storyteller and photographer, using powerful imagery to amplify the voices of coastal fishing communities and advocate for marine conservation and climate action. With over four years of experience in environmental advocacy, I strive to connect science, policy, and community engagement to develop innovative solutions for vulnerable ecosystems.

I am Marjan Maria, a young and ambitious wildlife biologist also a proud mom to a baby girl from Bangladesh. I am passionate about conserving the biodiversity of my country and protecting its endangered species. I am particularly interested in the behavioral ecology of primates and herpetofauna. I have researched the Bengal slow loris, Phayre's langur, hoolock gibbon, and other endangered species in Bangladesh. I have also worked on developing conservation strategies for these species. I am also interested in the impacts of road infrastructure on wildlife. I am currently working on a project to study roadkill in primates and other animals in Bangladesh. I believe that wildlife conservation is essential for our planet's health and future generations' well-being. I am committed to working to protect the biodiversity of Bangladesh and to ensure that its wildlife can thrive for generations to come. I am eager to learn and grow. Lead in world of true conservation and promotion of humanity .Stephen has 17 yrs experience of managing successful conservation projects in Kenya's Tsavo conservation Area. Coordinating the implementation of community based conservation projects engaging the marginalized communities living alongside the northern border of Tsavo National Park to promote economic resilience, through establishment of Community Banks and enhancement of gender equitable and sustainable livelihoods and foster human wildlife coexistence through community engagements as conservation champions. Stephen understands the behaviors and values required for conservation success and the importance of partnership and collaboration with like-minded stakeholders to synergize conservation efforts . His key competencies include Project management, Species conservation, Law enforcement, conservation education and social inclusion.

I am Additional Commissioner from Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) with vast experience of law enforcement especially in tackling transnational smuggling  including willdife trafficking. Also, as an expert I have been conducting sessions on various aspects of wildlife crimes and its convergence with other serious crimes, legal and enforcement framework to counter it, wildlife cyber crime, OSINT for combating wildlife crime, combating money laundering associated with wildlife crime, CITES, role of Customs in tackling the menace of wildlife crime, Digital Forensics etc. for forest, police, customs and other enforcement agencies' officials. I have also been invited as an expert by UNODC ROSA to train the law enforcement officials of Sri Lanka on combating wildlife cyber crimes.
