My name is Diana Mumbua, and I’m a wildlife conservation biologist with a BSc in Wildlife Conservation and Management. I’m passionate about community-based conservation, biodiversity protection, and storytelling as a tool to raise awareness about environmental issues.
I’m currently interning at Save the Elephants, Tsavo, Kenya where I’ve been gaining hands-on experience in ecological data collection and field operations. I’m particularly interested in conservation education and digital storytelling, and I hope to grow my skills in developing conservation strategies that inspire behavioral change.

Currently I am working as Intern biodiversity or Ecologist with Pakistan Wildlife Foundation Pakistan, where I've gained expertise in assessing different wildlife surveys. I am committed to making a positive impact on biodiversity conservation.
I joined WildHub with the aims to learn from experts and like minded individuals and contribute to wildlife conservation . I'm particularly interested in "Project Planning for Wildlife Conservation" and I believe that WildHub's resources and community will help me grow professionally in the field of environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation.
I am Nyaradzo Hoto, an Ecologist and Biodiversity Supervisor with Akashinga – The Brave Ones, based in the Lower Zambezi Valley, Zimbabwe. My professional focus is on biodiversity monitoring, ecological research, reforestation, and community-based conservation. I am particularly committed to advancing women’s leadership in conservation, promoting climate resilience, and integrating traditional knowledge with scientific approaches to achieve sustainable ecosystem management.
In recognition of my contribution to conservation, I received the IUCN International Ranger Award in 2022. I am currently enrolled in the WildTeam UK Project Planning for Wildlife Conservation course to enhance my expertise in strategic project design and adaptive management. I look forward to knowledge exchange and collaboration with fellow conservation professionals globally.
A communications professional for an animal protection organisation, I am also about to build a micro-nature reserve at a community project in London.
A banker turned environment conservation team manager especially in wildlife conservation in Eastern Assam in India. Trained and experienced in leading conservation team working for both aquatic (river dolphin) and terrestrial species (one-horned rhinos and elephants). Believes in blending science-based reasonings and traditional community knowledges in conservation planning and implementations. Stakeholders networking and continued coordination is my strength. Presently, working on promoting good practices to ensure human-elephant coexistence in Eastern Assam in India.
I am Mugisha Joshua Gideon, an environmentalist dedicated to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. I work with the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) as an Environmental Educator and Conservationist, where I focus on conservation awareness, ecosystem protection, and inspiring responsible stewardship of natural resources.
I am also a specialized assessor of Red List ecosystems, carrying out assessments that provide critical insights into ecosystem health, threats, and resilience, supporting evidence-based conservation actions. Beyond my technical expertise, I am passionate about environmental community engagement, working closely with local stakeholders to strengthen conservation participation and nature-based solutions.
In addition, I serve as a Member Mobiliser with Green Totos, where I play an active role in uniting and empowering young people to take part in environmental initiatives, conservation campaigns, and climate action programs.

My name is Rebecca, a dynamic and purpose-drivendevelopment practitioner with a strong commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable growth. Rooted in a passion for social equity, I have devoted my career to working with diverse and underserved communities empowering individuals to unlock their potential and become agents of change in society. I am the Founder and Executive Director of Cheerful Hands Initiative (CHI), a non-governmental organization I established in 2019 to champion the rights and development of girls, women, youths, the elderly, and persons with disabilities (PWDs). Prior to this, I served as the Coordinator of the YALI Network Benue (2020–2024), where I led strategic initiatives to build youth leadership, civic responsibility, and innovation across the state. Through CHI and other community-based platforms, I have led several transformative initiatives in the areas of education, environmental sustainability, health, mental health awareness, gender-based violence prevention, women’s empowerment, and human rights advocacy. My leadership style combines strategic vision with a deeply collaborative approach, allowing me to build and sustain partnerships with government institutions, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders for meaningful impact and currently working with Centre for Conservation Science and Practice (CCSP).

I have worked on sustainable solutions to human-wildlife conflicts, supporting local livelihoods while preserving biodiversity. As a researcher around Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda, I combine research, advocacy, and community engagement to promote coexistence between humans and wildlife, balancing conservation with community needs.
My name is Dr. Kassahun Berhanu, and I am a veterinarian based in Ethiopia. My country is rich in unique wildlife species, and I am passionate about conservation, zoonotic disease prevention, and community engagement.
