I am okoye chidinma faustina,  love nature and I’m passionate about wildlife conservation. I’ve joined tree planting and clean-up projects, and I’m excited to learn more and work with you all to protect our wildlife.

I am an Ecological Anthropologist & Ethnobiologist. I study how humans from various cultures all around the world affect plant and animal ecosystems and how human use of these ecosystems affects the wildlife populations. This is known by various names such as: Ecosystem Services, Human-Wildlife Interactions, Ecosystem Function. I study all various aspects of the "Human-Wildlife Interface" while dealing with issues associated with Wildlife Conservation, Biodiversity Loss, Global Climate Change, Anthropogenic Factors Affecting Wildlife & Habitat, Anthropocene Epoch Related Issues, Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) Systems of Indigenous People's. I am also a National Science Foundation Summer Scholar. I utilize "Integrated Biological Approaches" from the fields of both Anthropology & Wildlife Biology/Ecology when conducting research for the 21st century. I am also the founder and creator of "Integrated Human-Nature Relations".

Hello my name is Miss Acka Ahemen Soteria, a Tech-Savvy professional with a strong educational background in Computer Science, Educational Management, and Systems Management. I am based in Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa, I am passionate about harnessing Technology , Education and Management expertise to drive positive change. My interests span in IT, Education, Healthcare, Wildlife Conservation, Climate Change, Project Management and  Systems Management.I I am currently pursuing MOOC Conservation courses to deepen my understanding of Conservation Principles, Sustainable Practices, and Project Management Strategies. Through this learning journey, I aim to acquire knowledge and skills to Contribute effectively to conservation efforts, Mitigate climate change impacts, and Promote sustainable development in my community and beyond. I am excited to leverage my technical expertise and management acumen to drive meaningful impact in wildlife conservation and environmental sustainability.

My background is mainly in species conservation, education and capacity exchange. I researched mother-young interactions in gorillas and chimpanzees, in captivity and the wild. After that, I worked for three years in Indonesia, where I developed and implemented youth ambassador and community engagement programmes on local and regional scales. I co-founded WildHub, a community of nature conservation professionals, in 2020 and work as their Community Lead. I am furthermore on the Advisory Board of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022.
