About Monika Sax
Environmental journalist, science communicator and biodiversity advocate with a background in environmental sciences.
I work across TV, radio and print – but I want to do more than tell the story from the outside. I've been in the field, I know what it feels like and I translate that experience into language and images that move people and drive change.
Previous collaborations include Rewilding Europe (Affric Highlands) and the Zoological Society of Frankfurt. Now seeking an embedded role in conservation communication – as storyteller, media trainer or communications partner within a real project on the ground.
Passionate about rewilding, marine conservation and biodiversity. Ready to act.

Welcome to WildHub, Monika! 🌿
Your work sounds fascinating. I'd love to hear more - what are some of the conservation projects you've covered or been involved with that have had the biggest impact on you?
Looking forward to seeing the stories you uncover and the connections you make within the community. Welcome aboard!
Dear Flavia!
thank you! For example I did a film about a Rewilding project in the Netherlands
or an article about the reintroduction of Przewalski horses to Kazakhstan. In the last edition of Mondberge Magazin (www.mondberge-magazin.de) I wrote about invasive species. The same topic only vice versa ;-) (invasive species that "help") in my text about the Wadden Sea.
And what do you do? Where do you work?
Thanks a lot for the warm welcome :-) I´m looking forward to interesting talks and possibilities to highlight stories of change.
