I work as Community Manager at WildHub since 2020, and I am on the Advisory Board of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022.

I have 25yrs experience living and working across ten African countries in the Horn of Africa, East and southern Africa - mostly working for international NGO's on Protected Area (PA) and national level conservation programs. More recently I am the Founder and Managing Director of Conservation Synergies - a contracting and consulting company that supports governments, donors, NGO's and other partners to look at conservation problems and issues from new angles, and to learn from experts from other fields. I am also currently working part-time for the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime as as a Senior Analyst into the Illegal Wildlife Trade in East and Southern Africa, and more generally into illicit flows in northern Mozambique.
