Hi everyone, I am Ryan, I currently work as a Monitoring and Research Officer with the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire in the UK. Through this role I support the trusts monitoring and research work across our extensive reserve network which covers everything from wetlands and grasslands, to magnificent ancient woodlands.

My passion is for biological recording, mapping out where species are found. I spend most of my free time identifying and recording species. My particular areas of interest are bees, beetles, vascular plants and bryophytes. This data in this used to inform site management and conservation priorities.

Recently I finished on a three year project to engage volunteers with biological recording and monitoring. This was great and showed just how lucky we are to have these amazing volunteers supporting our work.

Hi Ryan, we are having a chat about a monitoring question that you may well be able to add something to...see collaborate - answer a question and I think it is the first one on the list
