Hi everyone, an introduction about myself and how I got to be be here. I grew up in the North Pennines (North East, England) exploring the landscape and willdife around me so no surprise I became interested in ecology and conservation! While I was studying a BSC Enviormental Science I volunteered with various charities. I have gained various experience and knowledge in nature and wildlife conservation from moth surveys, wildflowers and bees to turtles! When I graduated I volunteered and later became a lead field surveyor in Greece with Archelon surveying Loggerhead turtles! This meant I got to help protect and monitor both hatchlings and adult turtles while having plenty of sun which is limited in N.England!
This year I started my first full time role in the conservation sector with the Wear Rivers Trust. I have somewhat been thrown into the deep end with new aspects of ecology to learn and various projects to manage and deliver. So here I am hoping to learn how to better manage the current projects I am working on and future ones to!
