My name is Kourtney, I am early in my career and currently looking for work. Previously, I have worked in land management, water quality, permitting, and research. I hope to continue to grow in the conservation field and am hoping WildHub can help me grow! I am in Kansas City, practically the center of the USA but have been grateful to experience many other countries and would love to network far and wide as well as close at home.
Creating native habitats and supporting wildlife and conservation efforts is my passion, I hope to learn more about the background process and project planning, particularly grant writing and gaining proposal insights. Feel free to connect with me on any media!

Some tips & tricks for you to experience the most benefit from our community:
1) A good place to start is to click on the "Watch" button of our Job opportunities room so you will be notified by email of any new posts that get published in this room.
2) Another resource that may be useful is the free best practices on project planning and grant writing provided by WildTeam UK (also provided through online training courses). More information can be found on the website here: https://www.wildteam.org.uk/conservation-best-practice
3) For networking, I would recommend joining our WildHub Socials, RSVP here: https://wildhub.community/events/upcoming
Hope these resources will help you and feel free to add any questions you may have to our Q&A page.
You are welcome Kourtney, take a look at the links Thiirza posted especially that of training you are longing for. Wild Team provides several training opportunities including project planning and grant writing you made mention of.
