I'm Karen from Armenia. My objects are birds and butterflies. The ecosystems where I work are: wetlands, deciduous forests, juniper woodlands, semideserts, mountain steppes and alpine meadows.

My expertise in research includes: habitat requirements of threatened species; population and habitat modelling; modelling of land use scenarios or policy scenarios and their influence on the wildlife. My publications list includes over 100 papers, including 3 books.

My expertise in policy includes: National Laws on Fauna, Hunting, Protected Areas, and Environmental Assessment; International  Conventions and Agreements: Bern Convention on European Wildlife, Convention on Migratory Species, Paris Agreement of UNFCCC, Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbird Agreement, Raptors MOU.

My expertise in education includes: teaching of Environmental Science and Ornithology, wide variety of trainings.  

My expertise in community mobilization includes: development and maintenance of a conservation network of over 1,000 families in rural areas.

I am seeking for international collaboration that can strengthen regional conservation and influence.

Some of the amendments are submitted to the Parliament, some are at the last stage of development.
