Fauna & Flora is looking for an experienced, credible and collaborative relationship-builder to help strengthen its core conservation partners across Honduras, Nicaragua and Belize. 🌎

🤝 This isn’t a role where you’ll be working in isolation. You’ll be building alliances, supporting local organisations and helping create the conditions for conservation to thrive — bringing together communities, NGOs, governments, universities, businesses, regional networks and donors around shared goals.

💬 You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and someone who genuinely enjoys bringing people together.

You’ll be comfortable navigating different perspectives and interests, forging constructive relationships and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

🗣️ And there’s an important linguistic dimension to the role: fluent spoken Spanish and English are essential, alongside excellent writing skills in at least one of those languages.

🌱 Most importantly, you’ll share a commitment to strengthening local organisations and ensuring local communities are meaningfully involved in conservation.

📍 The position is based in Honduras, with regular travel to project sites in Nicaragua and Belize — making this a particularly exciting opportunity for someone who wants their work to have a genuinely regional reach.

📅 The contract is for one year, with potential to extend, subject to funding, and the salary is $24,086. The successful candidate is expected to start as soon as possible.
