Mr. Joseph K Muriithi

I recently applied to be a member of WildHub. I work as a lecturer at Kenyatta University Kenya, in the Department of Environmental Studies and Community Development where I teach courses related to the environment, conservation, and community development. It is from my teaching work that I have developed a keen interest in wildlife conservation questions and research. The Maasai Maasai National Reserve landscape has been my main site of research. Because of my further interest in community-based conservation, I have also taken part in community-based conservation activities in Southern Kenya, the Mt Kenya area, and in Northern Kenya observing how community conservation projects get implemented.
The main purpose of seeking to be a member of this forum is to exchange ideas and also to take part in some other activities of the forum for the advancement of conservation good.
Thank you.
Joseph K Muriithi
