I would like to offer to form a group to discuss the situation for Giant ibis, the national bird of Cambodia and critically endangered species, that is, among other things, threatened by poaching for bushmeat.  This is a topical issue due to the impact of COVID on rural people who have lost their jobs and are turning to wildlife as a source of protein.

Please feel welcome to join this group in the live session.

Cheers

This sounds interesting! I didn't know bushmeat was an issue with the Giant ibis. I am looking forward to learning more.

Hi Tony, I'd like to join your group.  Threats to endangered species and working with rural communities are both very relevant to my work so it sounds very interesting.  See you soon.
