The Hive Podcast; Episode 8 - Conservation Psychology
Lizzie Francolini currently works as a therapist using Conservation and the outdoors as a therapeutic tool. After working in the social sector for many years, before entering conservation, it was soon obvious that she could combine these two elements.
Episode 8 is the final episode of The Hive, Lizzie joined us to discuss how Conservation Psychology can be introduced at all levels of the work carried out within our sector.
Conservation Psychology has the ability to grow in influence amongst those of you who work in front facing roles, on reserves or in engagement - as we know that the natural environment is already used by therapists, conservationists and outdoor education providers, to promote sustainable behaviours, for example recycling, by connecting people with the wider natural world.
