Hello everyone,
My name is Diana Mumbua, and I’m a wildlife conservation biologist with a BSc in Wildlife Conservation and Management. I’m passionate about community-based conservation, biodiversity protection, and storytelling as a tool to raise awareness about environmental issues.
I’m currently interning at Save the Elephants, Tsavo, Kenya where I’ve been gaining hands-on experience in ecological data collection and field operations. I’m particularly interested in conservation education and digital storytelling, and I hope to grow my skills in developing conservation strategies that inspire behavioral change.
I’m really excited to connect, learn, and share ideas with all of you through this platform.
My name is Ikram Ullah. I am excited to be part of the WildHub community.
Currently I am working as Intern biodiversity or Ecologist with Pakistan Wildlife Foundation Pakistan, where I've gained expertise in assessing different wildlife surveys. I am committed to making a positive impact on biodiversity conservation.
I joined WildHub with the aims to learn from experts and like minded individuals and contribute to wildlife conservation . I'm particularly interested in "Project Planning for Wildlife Conservation" and I believe that WildHub's resources and community will help me grow professionally in the field of environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation.
I am Nyaradzo Hoto, an Ecologist and Biodiversity Supervisor with Akashinga – The Brave Ones, based in the Lower Zambezi Valley, Zimbabwe. My professional focus is on biodiversity monitoring, ecological research, reforestation, and community-based conservation. I am particularly committed to advancing women’s leadership in conservation, promoting climate resilience, and integrating traditional knowledge with scientific approaches to achieve sustainable ecosystem management.
In recognition of my contribution to conservation, I received the IUCN International Ranger Award in 2022. I am currently enrolled in the WildTeam UK Project Planning for Wildlife Conservation course to enhance my expertise in strategic project design and adaptive management. I look forward to knowledge exchange and collaboration with fellow conservation professionals globally.
I have been a keen supporter of many UK and International wildlife Charities for over 15 years, including Panthera, the Snow Leopard Trust, Greenpeace UK, Compassion in World Farming, Animals Asia, Born Free Foundation, Pachamama Alliance and more. I have acted on behalf of Wildlife Charities lobbying for them towards my local MP, who at the time was a senior member of the then UK Conservative Government, trying to raise awareness of environmnetal issues. In my job in te Rail Industry which covers the whole of the UK and contains many sites of sites of special scientific interest within the network, i have worked along side ecologists, taking advice from them regarding wildlife conservation on the ground. I have completed a Google Project Management Course, and so would like to take things further with my ongoing studies of Project Management for Wildlife Conservation, and work in Wildlife Conservation. I am also completeing a Google - Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course which is giving me an indepth understanding of digital marketting and email ad campaigns as well as things like digital analytics, which i believe will help in say things like the digital campaigns of a Wildlife Charity or Wildlife organisation. I want to gain as many skills as i can to continue to fight for wildlife, the biosphere and the planet.
