I am currently working as a Senior Researcher (Ecology) in the WOTR-Centre for Resilient Ecosystem (W-CReS), Watershed Organization Trust (WOTR), Pune. I possess over nine years of research expertise in natural resource management using geospatial techniques. I have earned both a Master's and a PhD degree in Forestry from the Forest Research Institute (Deemed to be University). My specialization includes a wide range of subjects, including forest ecology, sustainable forest practices, ecological niche modeling, remote sensing, GIS, and natural resource management.
I am a Forester, Hon. In Forestery and Wood Technology, I have more insight in forest management and establishment. I love urban forestry and always eager to learn or join conservation when urban forestry is discussed. I am here to learn, contribute knowledge and also network

This is Dr. Durr e Shahwar from Pakistan. I am Ph D Wildlife Management; M. Phil Wildlife Management (Gold Medalist); MSc. Zoology).
I have served as Assistant Professor in “The University of Haripur, KPK, Pakistan” at the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management (February 2016 to September, 2020). I am winner of the Vice Chancellor Talent Scholarship, Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan Indigenous Scholarship, International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) of HEC (for 6 months at School of Biological Sciences, University of Auckland, New Zealand). I have more than 10years of research experience and I have 12 publications in well renowned international journals.
As a promoter of culture and diversity, Gerald Nkusi is a travel ecopreneur with Adventure Afrika and founder of Home of Kigezi (a Museum of Living Culture and Natural History), Nkunga Eco Village, and the Food Forest Africa movement. His roots and home are in Kisoro, a part of the Kigezi region in Uganda. Starting as a waiter trading long nights of work for education at the famous Makerere University 2006 and a US Exchange Alumni-IVLP 2017, he has transformed into a local and global actor in the cultural heritage and conservation space. Gerald's Food Forest Africa movement is revolutionizing the use of small and waste spaces for food, health, education and environment to help counter food insecurity, poor nutrition, and the degradation of natural resources.
