Hi! My name is Eleonor and I'm an Argentinian currently living in the Netherlands. In the recent years I've specialized in Sustainable Development and Environmental Education. As an advocate towards nature conservation, I've participated for many years in a civil organization in my hometown region. We worked with members of the organization and many stakeholders towards the conservation of the remaining 3% area of forests.  In the present, I've came to Europe to enhance my understanding of conservation from a worldwide perspective. I am a storyteller and conservation communicator based in Mozambique. With a background in psychology, political science, and education, I weave together human-centered narratives that reflect the complexities of conservation work on the ground. Formerly a homeschooling teacher in a remote game reserve, I now work across departments to spotlight untold stories, bridge cultures, and explore the emotional landscape of environmental work.

I am an MSc candidate in Biodiversity and Ecosystems Management at NM-AIST, with a BSc in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture. I have hands-on experience from fieldworks in national parks, including Udzungwa, Ruaha, and Saadani. My current focus is on the adaptive management of Parthenium hysterophorus, integrating community perspectives and its sustainable ecological control. I’m Passionate about conservation that works with people, not just around them. My work blends with field research, geospatial analysis (QGIS, Land Cover Raster Mapping), and stakeholder engagement. I'm especially drawn to an inclusive conservation ethos, ready to learn, contribute, and grow as part of a team building a wilder and more resilient future.

Hi, I'm Paul Chinyama a dedicated conservationist with a profound love for nature and a strong commitment to preserving biodiversity. My journey in conservation began with my passion for exploring wildlife, which has since evolved into a career focused on habitat restoration and species protection. With over four years of experience and a Bachelor of science in wildlife conservation and natural resource management, I have developed expertise in designing and implementing effective conservation programs. My work at African Parks leads me to a significant increase in native bird populations through habitat restoration efforts. I'm excited about the opportunity to contribute to preserve wildlife and continue making a positive impact on the environment.

My research focus is the cultural and utilitarian ways rural communities value wildlife with a focus on endangered apes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I used mixed methods including doing interviews with community members and reconnaissance walks in adjacent village forests. My goal is to work for a conservation organization that partners with communities to find conservation solutions and implement initiatives that benefit both people and animals relevant to the local context. 

I am a graduate of BSc in Environmental Science I have skills and experience in managing environmentally sustainable projects as a researcher, field officer, M & E, and project manager.  I have handled WASH, Waste4Health, Wildlife conservation, and distributed renewable energy projects in various capacities.                                                                                              I am an outgoing, dedicated, ready-to-learn person who does everything possible to achieve the intended result.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

I founded West African Conservation Network or WACN, and we signed a 31 year MOU with the Nigeria National Park Service on the 27th of October 2023 to co-manage the Kainji Lake National Park in Nigeria.   Kainji has had 65 species of mammals documented including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, hippos, among numerous other species.

I was born in Kenya and have lived i the UK for 42 years now. My many years of working with small businesses and running various events to raise the profile of the businesses, has landed me a post for fundraiser Trustee for a UK wildlife Hospital. The founders of the hospital are very seasoned friends of mine and their dedication to saving every wildlife animal bird that comes through their door, is simply inspirational.  Therefore, I want to learn more about writing funding applications and grant applications. I also want to share my experiences of what has worked for us and what has not. Hopefully, we can all become better at doing what we do, through skill sharing. 

I'm a member of the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (CEC) and Expert in Environment and  Natural Resource Conservation through Communication, Education, Participation and Awareness Creation (C.E.P.A) Programs I teach individuals and school communities on the importance of conserving, preserving and protecting natural resources, biodiversity, and ecosystems. It aims to raise awareness, impart knowledge, and foster attitudes and behaviors that support sustainable living and environmental stewardship in schools.

Since July 2025, I have been serving as the Community Advocates Coordinator at WildHub, where I coordinate initiatives to engage, support, and empower our community advocates in advancing WH’s mission. Beyond WildHub, I wear a few different hats. I work as a researcher and lecturer in Sweden, teaching courses on environmental law, political and historical ecology, and disaster management. I also mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, collaborate with faculty members, and contribute to ongoing research projects. I’m passionate about giving back through volunteer work. I support a few conservation and animal welfare organisations with research and advocacy to help drive positive change. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking forest trails with my dog or enjoying a good cup of coffee.

I'm Liane, and I am a WildLearning Specialist at WildTeam! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all! For the last few years, I've been working in Seychelles, focusing on island and marine conservation efforts, particularly coral restoration and turtle nesting monitoring. If you ask me questions about coral, be prepared for me to get very nerdy about it! Prior to that, I was managing a project in Northern Thailand, where I worked closely with a local community to set up ethical elephant experiences in their village. In my free time, I love running and hiking, and being anywhere in nature. I have also learnt to freedive in the last few years and enjoy doing that when possible. I'm really interested in talking to different people and learning from them and their unique experiences.

Hi,  I'm Anish, a young conservationist with an interest in nature based solutions, human-wildlife interactions and conservation outside protected areas. I am currently a consultant at Legal Atlas, working on projects pertaining to wildlife trafficking, biodiversity conservation and wildlife health. I founded Think Wildlife Foundation. We have a few research projects on human wildlife conflict and wildlife cybercrime. We also have hosted a few plantations in the past in our neighbourhood and plan to expand these works in the future. I also host The Think Wildlife Podcast!

Raghavendra Pattar is a multifaceted professional who has successfully transitioned from a long career in IT to pursue his passion for wildlife and photography. As the Founder and CEO of Naturepix, he combines his skills as a writer, wildlife filmmaker, certified naturalist, and wildlife photographer to tell compelling stories about nature. With 19 years of experience in IT as a Head of Talent Acquisition, Raghavendra brings a unique blend of corporate expertise and creative vision to his current role. His work spans various specializations, including wildlife conservation, portrait photography, and macro photography. Raghavendra's dedication to his craft has earned him recognition as one of the top 35 photographers in Bangalore and the top 125 in India by the International Photography Club. Raghavendra's commitment to wildlife conservation is evident in his projects, such as the Melapura Blue Tailed Bee Eater Conservation Project for the Government of Karnataka. He is also an accomplished writer, having contributed articles to international and national magazines on migratory species and authored a book on the Birds of Mysore. I have been a Professional Wildlife Photographer / Film Maker & a Conservationist for the last 17 Yrs.  I have been studying migratory birds ( Blue Tailed Bee Eater & Bar Headed Goose ) and have published various articles in International Magazines.  I have recently completed Filming a documentary on Blue Tailed Bee Eater for the Government of Karnataka and the Department of Forest.  Our organization is more focused on the decline of Migratory Birds due to Environment and Climate Change in Mysore ( Karnataka )

I’m Dr Gilles Rolin Ananfack Kenfack, a passionate environmental advocate from Cameroon, dedicated to the sustainable management of our natural resources and the conservation of biodiversity. I hold a PhD in Integrated Management of Forest and Agroforestry Resources from the University of Dschang, where I also completed my Master’s in Natural Resource Management and Agroforestry. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, which laid the groundwork for my analytical approach to environmental issues. My Expertise With extensive experience in project management and community-driven initiatives, I specialize in integrated resource management, biodiversity conservation, and the restoration of degraded landscapes. As the founder and president of the Cameroonian Association for the Promotion of Bamboo, Environmental Protection, Nature Conservation, and Local Development (BambouCamer), I focus on promoting bamboo as a sustainable resource that can drive local development and enhance environmental conservation. My role as Director of Programs at the Community Association for Sustainable Development (CASuDev) involves coordinating various conservation and restoration projects, including efforts to protect the forest elephant population in the Campo Ma’an National Park and restoring degraded landscapes in Babadjou. I am also skilled in community mobilization, capacity building, technical report writing, and social and environmental impact assessments. Throughout my career, I have successfully collaborated with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to create sustainable and equitable solutions to pressing environmental challenges. My Interests I am particularly interested in agroforestry, the application of agroecological practices, and leveraging the potential of bamboo for environmental and economic sustainability. I am committed to advancing environmental sustainability and empowering communities, ensuring that development initiatives are both ecologically sound and socially just.
