I am an educator and researcher at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. As a professional, I have been teaching students in wildlife conservation and management as well as doing research and community outreach in wildlife conservation. In our country, the protected areas have been expanding in coverage, but the wildlife species have been declining in population abundance and diversity. Thus, I am interested to work on conservation capacity build, research, and consulting protected areas to resolve the contradicting facts of expansion of protected areas and loss of wildlife resources. In this regard, I am happy to develop a link with any conservation experts who are interested to work together and share experiences. 

I am a third-year student at African Leadership University pursuing a Bachelor of Global Challenges degree, graduating in June 2024. I'm passionate about working in the environmental and wildlife conservation industry to use skills gained from my tertiary education and make a difference as a research professional. I previously worked as a research intern on Land use activities at ALU School of wildlife conservation. And I gained hands-on experience working with writing case studies, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and working and communicating professionally.

This is Aditi Sharma and I am a Veterinarian. I completed my Masters in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology in 2004. I did a PG Diploma in Advanced Wildlife Management from the Wildlife Institute of India in 2015 & PG Diploma in One Health from COHORT, Kerela in 2023. I served the Department of Animal Husbandry in Uttarakhand State Government as Senior Veterinary Officer for 20 years and retired voluntarily on 31st January 2023 to continue as a Freelancer Wildlife Consultant. Currently, I am working on three projects related to Wildlife Health, One Health & Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation. I served in Rajaji Tiger Reserve in Northern India for 5 years from 2015-2020.  I am the Founder of two public charitable Trusts, one works for women's empowerment & safety and the other works for environment conservation. 

I am Loiruku, a young person born into the Maasai community. I enjoy working with the pastoralist and farming communities because that is where my life began, and I love working with the community and I love wildlife.

I’m a Ugandan public health and One Health specialist connecting human, wildlife, and ecosystem health. My journey began in a rural village, where health was only seen in clinics. Working with Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) taught me how communities, wildlife, and ecosystems are inseparably linked. I lead programs across Uganda’s protected areas with Village Health and Conservation Teams, youth, women’s groups, and reformed poachers to implement disease surveillance, biosecurity, and community-led conservation solutions. I hold an MPH and a postgraduate certificate in Global Health (Human-Animal-Ecosystem Interface, University of Geneva), contribute to peer-reviewed publications, and present at global forums, including the World One Health Congress. I specialise in communications and marketing for environmental charities, making ordinary people give a damn about and engage in environmental stories and campaigns - fuelling action and creating change. I work for an agency called more onion that helps progressive charities and non-profits have more impact through campaigns, fundraising and/or supporter engagement. My I love working with animal/environmental charities, as this is the area I'm most passionate about. I've worked for WWF, Greenpeace & Surfers Against Sewage, as well as grassroots organisations. As I'm neurodivergent, disabled, a carer and from a working class background, I'm passionate about making sure projects and campaigns are as inclusive as possible - we need everyone to change the world on the scale needed. Studying an MA in Anthrozoology part-time at Exeter (remote). My final project is studying vocalisations of critically endangered captive Javan Green Magpies and how we can use bioacoustics to inform welfare and understanding. Primate fan, but now falling in love with song birds. I have a BSc in Biology from St Andrews and won an Undergraduate Award for my genetics research. I live in the UK. My name is Tania Akhter, Recently I completed my MSc. from Zoology department (Wildlife and Biodiversity Conservation), Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have been working with wildlife for five years, especially with primate in different protected area in southeastern Bangladesh. I am looking for PhD and for why I am preparing myself by gathering research based knowledge and taking training that I feel need to implement in the field of wildlife conservation. I always like to shared my research knowledge and gather knowledge from others.  

I have been in the field of conservation for more than 8 years. After completing my bachelor's programme in Natural Resources Management, I joined the Consultoria de asesores Forestales S.A. de C.V. in Mexico focusing on the estimation of tree's biomass and volume for the sustainable use of forest product. I later furthered my studies and joined the Double Degree Master's Programme "ENREM" in Environmental Science at Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, Mexico and Natural Resources Management & Development at TH Köln, Germany. My master's thesis focused on carbon sequestration in the soil. Currently, I am the Terrestrial Researcher at Belize Audubon Society. In the process of my professional growth, I have seen that Project Management has become very important not just in the business sector but also in conservation. The effective use of tools for the management of resources will assist in the overall efficiency from planning to reporting.
