I am an environmentalist with a diploma in Forestry and Wildlife, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Oceanography, specializing in aquatic ecosystem management. I began my career with the development association, Alternatives Durables pour le Développement (ADD), where I successfully led several environmental and agricultural projects over a span of five years. Recently, I have taken on a new role as a grant writer at Sekakoh Organization, where I continue to apply my expertise in advancing impactful environmental and biodiversity conservation initiatives.

I was born in Kenya and have lived i the UK for 42 years now. My many years of working with small businesses and running various events to raise the profile of the businesses, has landed me a post for fundraiser Trustee for a UK wildlife Hospital. The founders of the hospital are very seasoned friends of mine and their dedication to saving every wildlife animal bird that comes through their door, is simply inspirational.  Therefore, I want to learn more about writing funding applications and grant applications. I also want to share my experiences of what has worked for us and what has not. Hopefully, we can all become better at doing what we do, through skill sharing. 

I'm ANDRIANARIVELO Miora Henintsoa, ​​Master Degree's in Environmental Management, Consultant (Reshearcher) in the field of Animal and Plant Conservation, Natural Resources Management.

I am a volunteer of one of the Wildlife Trust branches' local action youth forum, and in 2023, I worked as an Education and Community Engagement Officer for one of their local nature reserves, as part of a paid internship. I love wildlife and am deeply interested in helping people connect to nature for conservation and well-being. I seek a future role in the conservation and wildlife sector, and as grant writing is a vital skill for this sector, I decided to sign up to WildTeam for their Grant Writing for Wildlife Conservation course. I enjoyed the course so much that I am continuing with WildTeam's courses, having now taken their Project Planning, Stakeholder Engagement, and Project Management courses, and am now taking the free Launching Your Career in Wildlife Conservation course. I'm really excited about these new upcoming courses, especially the Facilitation course! I have an MSc Research degree in Biological Sciences at Bangor University, where I researched variation in the vertebral column of rhesus macaques using counts and geometric morphometrics. I also have a BSc Hons in Zoology with Animal Behaviour. I love primates, my favourite being lemurs, and I hope to see them someday in Madagascar. I also love writing and hope to publish a novel one day. My preferred writing genres are fantasy and sci-fi (with a little nature thrown in, too).  I have had two nature non-fiction articles published in the North Wales Wildlife Trust's 2025 Membership Magazines and was credited as a proofreader in the Summer 2025 edition. I have also written educational blogs during my time as an Educational and Community Engagement Officer

I hold a postgraduate diploma from the University of Oxford, specializing in carnivore and human-wildlife research through WildCRU. My experience includes camera trapping and using AI for data analysis and species identification. I am actively seeking conservation job and research opportunities, as well as pursuing an MSc or PhD in conservation. I am passionate about becoming a conservation leader and am particularly interested in mentoring young people and women in the field.

I am deeply committed to empowering rural communities through education, environmental sustainability, and entrepreneurship. My expertise lies in public service, with over 15 years of experience across various sectors including education, health systems monitoring, and agriculture. 

I am a professor at the State University of Santa Cruz - Bahia - Brazil. As a veterinarian I work in the health context and lately I have admired the area of Unique Health, Ecosystem Health and Conservation Medicine. I am currently involved in research related to zoonotic diseases, including arboviruses, and also research in the area of animal welfare, biosafety and anesthesiology. In 2018, we founded the Wild Animal Care and Research Center (NAPAS), linked to the Veterinary Hospital of the University. In this space we are responsible for improving and maintaining the health status of wild animals in the southern region of the state of Bahia. We have a team made up of undergraduate and graduate students, in addition to specialists from the most varied areas of Veterinary Medicine.

I am an ecologist with a speciality in environmental education.  I work with students and communities. My joy us in transforming people's attitude towards wildlife and changing Human Wildlife Conflict to Coexistence.
