I am Arefine. I am an anchor & reciter. In between my studies in zoology, I am involved in extra curricular activities. I focus on field studies since my undergraduate studies. Field study alone and observing became my addiction. Photography was also added to this addiction. Although watching nature, observing animals is my passion, the thought of working on a specific subject did not come to my mind. After that, I started working at the marginal level with snakebite patients during the Corona period. Then I chose calligraphy as a means of awareness to reach people quickly. Although I did not give priority to online then, I later built my organization called Kundali Foundation. Under the banner of this organization, i started the work of conveying the message of awareness to people called 'Be Aware Of Snake'.   I was able to deliver my message to 495 upazilas of Bangladesh. The war is still going on because the fear of snakes has not died down among people.

Hi there! I'm based in London (Irish citizen, from Galway). I studied Applied Marine and Freshwater Science and graduated in 2016. I worked in this field, took part in research surveys (oceanography and cetacean sightings) and did some volunteering in marine conservation. Since moving to London in 2018, my career shifted to corporate, start up, and small businesses, working as an Exec Assistant and Project Manager.  Conservation and Animal Behaviour and Welfare is still a big passion of mine and I want to immerse myself back in this line of work! In order to do this, I need to up-skill and become more educated with the current climate of Wildlife Conservation; What are the challenges being faced, what skills are required to tackle these and how can I use my current set of skills to move my career in this direction - this is what has led me to WildHub 🙂 I'm actively seeking employment in this industry and willing to start at entry level if required (e.g. apprenticeship) so if you do know of any opportunities, please get in touch, I'd love to talk more! 

Mary is  passionate about experiencing and working in wild spaces. She is a practicing researcher, experienced in project management with her current career being species-focused. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from the Copperbelt University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Environmental and Natural Management at the University of Zambia. In 2018, Mary embarked on a rewarding journey as an ecologist intern with BirdWatch Zambia. Since joining the organization, She has participated in species and biodiversity surveys, monitored habitats, engaged with young learners, and established nature clubs in schools among various other activities. Currently, Mary is honored to serve as a Species Conservation Officer and lead the Vulture Conservation Program at BirdWatch Zambia. Within this role, Mary oversees a multitude of responsibilities, including coordinating research efforts, facilitating capacity building initiatives, and managing partner relations. Additionally, she skillfully blends project activities with community engagement and outreach to ensure that local communities become parts of the conservation solutions we strive for. Mary's expertise also extends to wildlife poisoning response, both in practice and as a trainer. She possess a keen interest in areas such as tourism, law enforcement, and wildlife crime prevention.

I am a vet with expertise in both farming and pet animals. My mission is to know the basics of every speechless species. Currently these are the species with which I have an experience: Falcons/Poultry Cats/Dogs Horses/Camels Cows/Buffaloes/Goats/Sheep Wildlife also matters a lot for me as a veterinarian. I Julius Saitore am working in tourism industry recently but before I worked with two of conservation and sustainability organisations I volunteered with Jane Goodall's institute as school coordinator whereby I gave education to students and youth about the importance to conserve environment and enabling them to undertakes actions by planting trees in their areas Secondly I volunteered at Project rose as educational coordinator whereby the main goal for the organisation was to see the sustainable community by provide them with education with fully funded scholarship Not only that to be a safari guide means you travel alot to different destinations for exploration and make an interesting point to the tourists  for me travelling with people is a spreading of the importance of conservation whenever I meet anybody I just employ "trash in and trash out" wherever i go with tourist the purpose is to try to be kind to the environment and wildlife in places but to make a better world and enjoyable for everyone's in a future  I do like mostly walking safari than other form of tourism activities that's because it is justly friendly to nature.

I started working with captive rescued monkeys in 1999 and went on to earn an MSc in Primate Conservation (Oxford Brookes University) and another in International Animal Welfare Ethics and Law (University of Edinburgh). I've worked for a number of animal welfare organizations, most recently the Animals Asia Foundation and the Asia for Animals Coalition. I've been trustee and director for Neotropical Primate Conservation since its establishment as a UK charity in 2007. I'm particularly interested in the way human and non-human primates relate to one another, and the intersection between conservation and animal welfare. I feel that it's important that these are treated as complimentary, rather than contradictory, concepts. I am a born and raised wildlife conservationist from birth, a student at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture in Umudike, Abia state, Nigeria, I am deeply engaged in the study of forestry and environmental management. Additionally, I actively participate as a volunteer for the Nigerian Bird Atlas Project, a vital initiative led by the AP Leventis Ornithological Research Institute in Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria. Furthermore, I contribute my time and efforts as a volunteer at the Biodiversity Preservation Center in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. My passion for nature extends beyond my academic and volunteer commitments. With experience in Marine Animal Rehab., Rescue and Research coupled with a nerdy love of data, data science and all things technology, my data collection software company, WatchSpotter is the cumulation of my life’s work. From the hallways of the Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center at the University of New England, my affinity for caring for marine animals was fostered and grew. Being tasked with the center’s life support systems and flow thru animal pools further opened my eyes to water quality, fecal coliforms, and bio-loads.  I was the primary research technician in a multiphase study: Protecting the Saco River: Tracking non-point fecal pollution to its species source. Upon leaving UNE, I traveled to the Southern Great Barrier Reef Australia to work on an international research team focusing on population dynamics for three cetacean species. Once back stateside, I sharpened my Software UX skills working as a software consultant for Centersoft Technologies. After a brief stint volunteering for the Dolphin Photo ID program at Florida Atlantic University Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, I was hired to join the team. I split time the first years at FAU HBOI between the Harmful Algal Bloom lab and the Dolphin Population and Assessment Lab. Settling in as a Research Assistant for the latter as well as a first responder for the Marine Mammal Rescue Team. In working with the Dolphin Population and Assessment Primary Researcher, along with other industry collaborators, I soon became the PIs data analyst and was paramount in the creation and development of the programs state of the art cloud-based SQL database platform. I worked as a liaison between the research program and software architects to assure ease of use, maximum data output and advanced analytics. The software is still used by the newly formed team today.  At the end of 2019 it was time for me to branch out on my own.  In the spring of 2022, WatchSpotter was born. My idea was to create a customizable SaaS application that could be used by researchers worldwide. Data is data- scientific questions need to be answered. My contingency was that no matter what the research topic- if the research brings people into the field-whether scientists, volunteers, or citizens, they are there to gather data-to answer questions. I knew that the two biggest challenges facing many environmental research groups were time and money. It would not be feasible for most nonprofits or other environmental institutions to pay for custom software- which often runs in excess of $150K nor do they have the time to wait for such programs to be complete.  These known challenges fueled the customization and simple UX that make up the WatchSpotter platform. When I’m working with Environmental Science or software, I enjoy being outside in the woods or at the beach, volunteering and hanging with family and friends.

I am a Wildlife Conservation Scientist, Environmental Educator, and Science Communicator based in Mumbai, India. I am currently a Project Fellow at WCB Research Foundation where I’m involved in sloth bear research, and Director of Media and Comms. for SOLARIS TRAIL CAMERAS, Brisbane.  I completed my Masters of Conservation Science from the University of Queensland and worked on projects involving the conservation and ecology of wild cats, environment awareness campaigns with a Mumbai-based NGO, and science communication. My interests include but are not limited to community-based biodiversity conservation, large mammal ecology, and raising environmental awareness. I enjoy the outdoors, especially birding, photography, hiking, and digital illustration. I joined WildHub to interact with like-minded folk in the field of Wildlife Conservation across the globe. I hope to participate in much needed Conservation conversation and figure out ways to better safeguard our wildlife and the planet.

My area of interest in primate behaviors, not only because I have a background in zoology and conservation but also as someone who spent most of my time with primates. Moreover, I have some skills related to people vs wildlife conflict around PAs. currently, I'm working as a research assistant in mountain gorilla behavior data collection at Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund | Rwanda.

I'm a coral reef ecologist who's left academia and now runs a video production company in London. Our work spans films of all kinds but our main passion and focus is in creating documentary film and meaningful visual stories for charities, projects and people that are trying to make the world a better place. We've spent the last 5 years working on some amazing projects from a BBC World documentary following the miraculous recovery of an 80 year old explorer from COVID, who then went on to climb Cornwall's largest mountain. More recent projects include a week long trip to the mountains of Portugal where we were following the work of a local NGO who's fighting the rising wildfires through the planting of native woodland and trees.  I'm open to speaking with and collaborating on projects across the world to use our skills to help tell stories that matter. 

I am a young career multidisciplinary scientist with a Bsc Fisheries and Aquaculture and highly interested in sustainability options including wildlife conservation and environmental protection. I also have professional experience in international development, fisheries and Aquaculture, research and climate change mitigation and adaptation awaiting my first assignment as a technical expert reviewer of the UNFCCC.
