A recent report by the Rights and Resource Initiative building the data base for rights-based conservation which is inclusive, culturally appropriate, just and effective. Take a look and let's build the conversation. I would love to have more resources if you have.

Hi everyone, I am an Ethnobotanist who took a turn from the plants towards political ecology. I look into power, semiotics, and earth system governance to understand how the institutionalisation of global and national laws impact the direct relationships of communities to their socio-ecological systems, a.k.a environments. I do this because I am interested in smashing these power structures by supporting bottom-up grassroots initiatives to counter power and claim their fundamental rights through a variety of means.
