The Global Wildlife Programme Behaviour Change Guidance Note Series, a TRAFFIC - World Bank collaboration, helps governments, project teams, and wildlife practitioners incorporate behavior change into their conservation efforts.

The four guidance notes include:

  1. Entry Points for Behavior Change – How to identify opportunities to apply behavior change in human-wildlife conflict and coexistence, illegal and unsustainable wildlife trade, and nature-based tourism.
  2. Developing a Behavior Change Strategy – A three-step process for designing strategies and interventions grounded in behavioral science.
  3. Conducting Social Research – Practical tips and case studies on how to design, carry out, and apply social research effectively.
  4. Creating Impactful Messages – Guidance and examples on how to develop messages that support conservation-focused behavior change.

The resources can be freely accessed on the World Bank website here. Please share this news as widely as possible and if you decide to get your own copies, I would love to get any comments or feedback!
