Hello, My name is Sóstenes, but you can call me Sósti. I am from Brazil, where I did my graduate and Master's degrees. I did my graduation from the University of Santo Amaro, where I studied how climate change will affect four species of threatened frogs in Brazil. Also, I did my master’s degree in wildlife conservation from the University Federal de São Carlos and São Paulo’s Zoo, where I studied how climate change can affect a community of snakes in a river Basin in Brazil. I have been working for more than 10 years with wildlife, principally with the management of wildlife in situ for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), I have worked in different biomes, such as forests (Amazon rain forest, and Atlantic Forest), savannas (Cerrado and Caatinga), and Pampa. But, I have worked with ecological niche models and built maps with GIS platforms as well. I am interested in wildlife conservation, field research, zoology and ecology. Currently, I am living in Dublin (Ireland) to improve my English and I am working on ecological niches models for snakes in a South American basin. I am looking forward to talking with you about nature, conservation, zoology or what you want and helping you with what you need.
I am a biologist with a master's degree in Wildlife Conservation, a specialist in herpetology, and also a lot of experience in the management and research in situ of other animals, like mammals and birds. Experience with data analysis (R!), technical reports and QGIS. With more than 14 years of experience coordinating and executing these activities.
