Dialogue Matters is excited to announce our new one-day online training course: Inclusive Engagement!

Are you in the nature or climate sectors and working directly with diverse stakeholders? Do you want to get to better-informed decisions and more effective and actionable solutions in your project? Do you want greater buy in from people who feel they’ve been treated fairly?

Engaging inclusively can help you get to these outcomes. Inclusive engagement has two distinct aspects: Power and diversity. Learn how to factor both into engagement planning to ensure genuine inclusion with Dialogue Matters’ new one-day online training course.

 Key topics covered include:

  • Change starts with us! How change to be more inclusive starts with understanding ourselves and the roots of our practice and worldview.
  • Who to include? Inclusion beyond the Protected Characteristics and Social Graces.
  • Equitable Stakeholder Identification. Pioneering techniques for doing inclusive and equitable stakeholder ID.
  • Power. How it works, how to share it, and a tool for analysing power in a project.
  • Solving barriers to inclusion. Practical and psychological barriers to inclusion, and solutions built from 25 years of practitioner experience.

The course takes place on Tuesday 14th November 2023 from 10:00-16:00 and will be hosted online via Zoom.
