In November 2024, following the 45th anniversary of the Bern Convention, WaterBear, The European Nature Trust and Io Non Ho Paura Del Lupo presented The Wolf Within, a powerful and timely documentary that explores the delicate balance between wolves and humans in Europe. This poignant film shines a light on the importance of wolf conservation at a critical moment in the fight to protect Europe’s wildlife.

And then unexpectedly a wolf crosses our path. It doesn’t matter who we are or where we come from. Its steady gaze locks onto us, and in that instant, the chains that bind us to our daily illusions snap. And there’s not a person alive, man or woman, who can remain untouched by such an encounter. In the gaze of the wolf lies a connection to something larger than ourselves, a wake-up call to the wild around us, a calling to the wolf within.

Since July 2025, I have been serving as the Community Advocates Coordinator at WildHub, where I coordinate initiatives to engage, support, and empower our community advocates in advancing WH’s mission.
Beyond WildHub, I wear a few different hats. I work as a researcher and lecturer in Sweden, teaching courses on environmental law, political and historical ecology, and disaster risk management. I also mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, collaborate with faculty members, and contribute to ongoing research projects.
I’m passionate about giving back through volunteer work. I support a few conservation and animal welfare organisations with research and advocacy to help drive positive change. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking forest trails with my dog or enjoying a good cup of coffee.
