Would you like a say in shaping the future of the BES while making a major contribution to their diverse ecological community? Join the Agricultural SIG (Special Interests Group) committee in a leadership role.
The BES committees and working groups help deliver the society's strategic plan, reporting directly to their Board of Trustees. As a committee member you will work closely with BES staff and ecologists to uphold their position as ecology's leading voice.
The Agricultural Ecology Group aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between both ecologists and academics working in agricultural systems and those working in the food system in the widest sense including conservationists, farmers, social scientists and policy makers.
THIS IS A VOLUNTARY ROLE AND APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE ONCE A SUITABLE PERSON IS APPOINTED.
Further information about this role can be found here: https://www.britishecologicalsociety.org/membership-community/special-interest-groups/agricultural-ecology/
