I am Sandra, a Conservation Technologist experienced in the use of GIS technologies like QGIS, EarthRanger software, Google Earth Pro in the collection, manipulation and delivery of geographic data to enable evidence-based decision-making in wildlife and habitat monitoring in the Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth and Kidepo Valley National parks in Uganda as well as MS Project. My love for wildlife conservation and habitat management as well as travelling new places leads me to appreciate our surroundings and the need to protect them.

I am a Forester, Hon. In Forestery and Wood Technology, I have more insight in forest management and establishment. I love urban forestry and always eager to learn or join conservation when urban forestry is discussed. I am here to learn, contribute knowledge and also network

I am a Master's student at the University of Liverpool, UK. The course I have chosen for my masters is environmental sciences. I am really keen on understanding the various concepts and strategies that revolve around conservation. I also look forward to building a career along the same field. The wildhub community will certainly prove helpful in working towards my passion. The community will also be helpful in educating myself on various topics related to conservation and onn building a better insight.

Loupa Pius, MSc. Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management at Gulu University in Uganda. Conservation and Policy- Charles R Wall Policy Fellow 2023. I work as landscape officer, at African Wildlife Foundation, The rangeland consultant and Founder of Rural Land Initiative Africa. The Co -chair International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralist (IYRP 2026) Eastern Africa Working Group; Volunteer Coordinator Eastern Africa Indigenous Peoples Alliance (EAICA).

With a passion for nature-based solutions and a personal mission to help accelerate the transition to more sustainable people-environment interactions, my current work and volunteering is dedicated to biodiversity, conservation and remediation projects. My recent research aims to better understand and encourage employees' pro-environmental/ green behaviours and valorisation of residues.

I am a conservation professional and TM at Finima Nature Park, Nigeria. I focus on biodiversity protection, community engagement, and building sustainable systems to support long-term conservation outcomes. I have extensive hands-on experience in species monitoring, habitat management, and environmental education. I lead initiatives such as biodiversity assessments, staff training, and capacity building, while also mentoring young people and teaching biology. My work is driven by a commitment to bridge the gap between science and local communities, ensuring conservation efforts benefit both people and nature.

AM PASSIONATE ABOUT CONSERVATION AND WANT TO SEE THE ANIMALS HAVE THEIR FREEDOM

Director, Principal Ecologist, Conservation Biologist and Environmental Scientist at The Ecological Partnership, with over 500 ecological, behavioural ecological, ethological, biodiversity conservation and broader environmental science studies. Passionate about vital effective and critically urgent Biodiversity Conservation, EO Wilson's Half Earth Project, which advocates for the conservation of at least 50% of all the Earth's natural ecosystems, effective critically urgent mitigation, or intervention for the rapidly accelerating Anthropogenic Biodiversity Apocalypse, Anthropogenic Sixth Global Mass Extinction, and Anthropogenically Exacerbated Global Warming.

I am a Science Communicator with a big passion for connecting people back to their inner-child's wonder for wildlife. I believe that everyone deep-down has a love for animals, and I want to help them find it! My skills include content creation, brand strategy, short-form video production, social media marketing, and visual storytelling. Motivating my growth in all these skills is my passion for what I do. Long story short, I love animals and I love talking about them! I enjoy working with conservation organizations to expand their reach and impact through Reels, carousels, TikToks, email marketing, and print designs. I have been working in the conservation sector since the mid-1990s, largely based in the UK and working for international NGOs. I began as a grant fundraiser and moved into programme management, including working with a range of partnerships/coalitions. I am also a technical writer and I have worked on various projects from high-level reports to blogs. I have an MSc from the Durrell Institute of Conservation Ecology at the University of Kent (UK). I currently work for ANIMONDIAL - a travel consultancy advising on Nature Positive tourism and other aspects of animal and nature protection in the travel industry; I manage our Animal Protection Network of on-the-ground conservation projects.
