My name is Mugiraneza Eulade and I'm from Rwanda 🇷🇼🇷🇼. I am a passionate conservationist with an Advanced Diploma in Wildlife and Conservation Technologies and hands-on experience in wildlife tracking especially chimpanzee, youth mobilization in climate action and environmental protection as a Green Rising Ambassador. I completed a professional internship at Nyungwe National Park, where I participated in a park-wide chimpanzee monitoring survey, enhancing my field and research skills.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife and Landscape Management to deepen my expertise at the same time working as Park Ranger at Nyandungu Eco-park.

Acanthus pubescens

Acanthus pubescens (Igitovu) is a flowering plant that has thorns on its leaves. commonly found in East Africa, including Rwanda. Hahaha, when we were still young, there was a traditional belief "that a person who couldn’t have libido (Sexual desire) would be beaten with this plant and would immediately be cured". What did people where you live used to say about it? What do you call it in your native language?
