I have worked in field biology since 2013 with a focus on avian research, specifically wetland and coastal habitats. Most recently, I worked with Audubon Great Lakes to bring urban migratory bird monitoring to Grange Insurance Audubon Center. For several years, I worked with shorebirds and wading birds in Florida as the Avian Biologist with Rookery Bay Reserve. I have also presented multiple lectures for festivals or training courses such as the Florida Master Naturalist course and Rookery Bay's Festival of Birds. I currently reside in Central Ohio while staying active in national or international conservation programs such as Zoo Miami's Florida Flamingo Working Group to research American flamingo ecology or ResearchWild Inc's international internship research program.

Raghavendra Pattar is a multifaceted professional who has successfully transitioned from a long career in IT to pursue his passion for wildlife and photography. As the Founder and CEO of Naturepix, he combines his skills as a writer, wildlife filmmaker, certified naturalist, and wildlife photographer to tell compelling stories about nature. With 19 years of experience in IT as a Head of Talent Acquisition, Raghavendra brings a unique blend of corporate expertise and creative vision to his current role. His work spans various specializations, including wildlife conservation, portrait photography, and macro photography. Raghavendra's dedication to his craft has earned him recognition as one of the top 35 photographers in Bangalore and the top 125 in India by the International Photography Club. Raghavendra's commitment to wildlife conservation is evident in his projects, such as the Melapura Blue Tailed Bee Eater Conservation Project for the Government of Karnataka. He is also an accomplished writer, having contributed articles to international and national magazines on migratory species and authored a book on the Birds of Mysore. I have been a Professional Wildlife Photographer / Film Maker & a Conservationist for the last 17 Yrs.  I have been studying migratory birds ( Blue Tailed Bee Eater & Bar Headed Goose ) and have published various articles in International Magazines.  I have recently completed Filming a documentary on Blue Tailed Bee Eater for the Government of Karnataka and the Department of Forest.  Our organization is more focused on the decline of Migratory Birds due to Environment and Climate Change in Mysore ( Karnataka )  

Since July 2025, I have been serving as the Community Advocates Coordinator at WildHub, where I coordinate initiatives to engage, support, and empower our community advocates in advancing WH’s mission. Beyond WildHub, I wear a few different hats. I work as a researcher and lecturer in Sweden, teaching courses on environmental law, political and historical ecology, and disaster management. I also mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, collaborate with faculty members, and contribute to ongoing research projects. I’m passionate about giving back through volunteer work. I support a few conservation and animal welfare organisations with research and advocacy to help drive positive change. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking forest trails with my dog or enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Hello, I'm Yanna, a design consultant helping social and environmental impact organizations to design innovative solutions that address complex challenges. My approach combines human-centered design and behavior change strategies. I believe that understanding the drivers and barriers of human behavior in relation to environmental challenges is essential in order to design sustainable and transformative community programs that achieve conservation goals. I facilitate a design process with my clients to create tools, services and programs that drive systemic change, exploring solutions beyond campaigns and educational approaches. I am really passionate about protecting nature and wildlife. Although my design experience stems mostly from healthcare, humanitarian aid, agriculture and climate change resilience programs (see https://designfollowsinsight.com/projects/), I have also worked on developing a biodiversity monitoring and reporting innovation strategy. My goal is to apply design research methodologies and innovation in the service of wildlife and nature.

I am a student studying marine biology at Swansea University. I am currently doing my year in industry with Celtic Deep. I love everything to do with the oceans and wish to pursue a career in marine conservation & research. I am a qualified PADI advanced open water diver and enjoy diving and snorkeling in my spare time.

I lead on the Whitley Fund for Nature's Network Development programme, supporting and creating connections among the 200-strong global network to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration, and strengthen capacity. Previous to this role, I worked for Galapagos Conservation Trust for over seven years across project management and operations/finance. I hold an MSc in Conservation Science from Imperial College London. I am passionate about habitat restoration, the conservation of endemic species and inspiring the next generation of conservation leaders.

I am a social scientist and passionate about increasing the application of social science research and methods in the conservation sector. To do this, I founded Human Nature. Human Nature is a social enterprise empowering conservation professionals to use social sciences to impact people and planet. We provide training and mentorship to NGOs, academics, policy makers and others wishing to build their foundations in social science. Many people working in conservation have trained through natural science routes, and find themselves needing to better understand the people elements of ecosystems. Ana Yi Soto is a specialist in communications and cooperation for development. Her 12-year professional experience spans the non-profit and private sectors, including NGOs such as Conservation International and Wildlife Conservation Society. She is knowledgeable in rural development, conservation programs, and youth movements across Latin America, Africa, and Europe.  In 2007, she co-founded the International Network of Students for Peace, RED ESPAZ Peru, and on Earth Day 2023, she launched Crea Planeta, a creative agency for planet restoration based in social marketing and behavioral insights. Ana is a Peruvian national and lives in Madagascar, close to the Makira National Park.

From a young age, I have been passionate about working with wildlife, and as I progressed in my career, I have come to understand the crucial link between wildlife and communities.
