Apply to become a Mentee or a Mentor in the 2025 Global Mentorship Program!

🌱 What is the Global Mentorship Program?
The Global Mentorship Program is a six-month virtual mentorship experience, running from July to December 2025, designed to build collaborative, cross-generational relationships between emerging young leaders in conservation and experienced professionals. Unlike traditional mentorship programs, this one does not require participants to complete a project, task, or report. Instead, mentors and mentees set personal and professional goals together in their first meetings. The journey is shaped by each unique pair, creating a space for co-learning, co-creating, and co-mentoring. CoalitionWILD believes in the power of meaningful conversations and shared experiences across generations and cultures.
My mentor's expertise and insights helped me clarify my goals and develop actionable strategies to address the challenges I faced. Additionally, the regular check-ins and open discussions allowed for a genuine exchange of ideas, which fostered a supportive learning environment. It was encouraging to have someone who listened and  also challenged me to explore new perspectives. Finally, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the meaningful relationship I developed with my mentor. This connection has enhanced my professional journey while contributed to my personal growth." LetĂcia Benavelli, 2024 Mentee

I feel that I learned a lot from my mentees, as I felt challenged to understand their work, their concerns, their goals and think outside of my reality to support their journey which made me grow as as professional as well. I feel that I found out two new friends that I would have in my life going on." Estrela Matilde, 2024 Mentor

Thank you for sharing this opportunity with our community, @Fátima D. Gigante ! 🌿 The Global Mentorship Programme is such a valuable initiative, especially in a field where support and guidance can make a real difference. I really appreciated how clearly you laid out the structure and how it benefits both mentees and mentors.
If it’s something you're able to share, I’d be curious to hear whether there are any insights or trends from previous programme rounds—such as how participants have progressed in their careers or built new professional pathways after taking part. It would be lovely to hear how this programme is supporting those transitions!
Just to let you know, I’ll be including this post in our highlights newsletter tomorrow morning to help spread the word more widely across the WildHub community.
Building on discussions in our WildHub Socials yesterday, I'm tagging in some people to help spread the word :)Â
