MENCERTC  is a community youth-led organisation in the Highlands Region of Papua New Guinea. The organisation’s primary mission is to promote community ecotourism, wildlife protection, and management through conservation, education, research, and training. We also focus on supporting sustainable community livelihood development in the Mauberema community.

In 2022, MENCERTC achieved significant recognition. We received the Global UNPD Equator Prize for our outstanding contributions to conservation, socioeconomic development, and sustainable livelihood in a megadiverse developing nation. Additionally, we received 2022 The Society for Conservation Biology Oceania Regional Distinguished Community Service Award, further acknowledging our exceptional success in these areas. We were invited as part of the Global Indigenous community to attend the COP28 meeting in Dubai. We are a self-help community based organizations looking for partnership with any interested Environmental Organizations or Donor partners willing to support our Work.

A warm welcome to WildHub, Moses! Great to have you join us and thank you for sharing about your organisation's achievements; amazing to read.

Would you perhaps be open to an interview where you could share your insights on starting MENCERTC with our WildHub members? This may be good exposure for your organisation as we currently have 4300 members across 160 different countries.
