Global Reef is a marine conservation and research centre based in Thailand. Among other things, they offer access to a large set of data collected in coral reef habitats.
As coral reefs only take up 1% of the sea floor, access to these ecosystems can be difficult and costly, as specialised equipment and skills may be needed to find and explore them.
If you are a MA student, PhD or Post-Doc researcher and you are conducting research on marine life in the tropics, you can ask your university to collaborate with the team at Global Reef and have access to empirical data sets, 3D models, and imagery gathered in-situ.
